A kid is born.

The kid comes to age of 6 and attents to primary school.

At the end of primary school, that kid enters into big exam (!) where his/her future mind fuck is begun. This is the first line. Many kids at this stage simply cannot attend to good educating schools and most lose right from the start which is here.

If you managed to enter to any good education school at this stage, then you must finish it first. After you finish it, university exams come. 1.5 milion people enter to university exams and only 120 - 150 thousand of them actually enter. 1.4 - 1.35 milion people are wasted in this stage. This means 90% . Altough alot of them are quite talented people, they still are wasted.

If you are lucky enough and entered to university (wow, I think surviving at wild jungle is more probably than this) you have to finish it. If you finish it, then know this. 80% of the university programs are useless. This means that when you finish your program, you have no job place to go. 20% of the rest, usually work for the price which hardly even allows you to live as a normal person..more than that, you probably cannot even rent a house and pay your bills (I'm not even talking about buying food, buying dresses and living your life in a normal way). Only 5% of them truly live a high end life and most of the time, they go outside of the country and never come back. The other part of university degree either go and work on some other job other than what their profession is, or make another stupid mistake that I call "better kill yourself". They attent to master degree.

Master degree. This is not something you can easily take. First, you have to enter into stupid exam that is pretty similar to university exam (as if you were stupid enough to win university at the first place and it's not enoug, you have to do it again). 50% of people lose at this exam without even chance to go and talk with universities for interview. The other 50% have to lick university personell ass, have similar political views with them or they simply make you lose your chace even though you are #1 at everything.

Most of the master programs are made for personal gratifications. If you managed to enter to master program, make sure it brings you money, don't trust to them and trust to yourself, or you are screwed. Same goes to the master degree programs that recive students for money payment. They are fairly easier compared to free programs, but cost you money and if you have the

If you have the money, why the fuck are you come to master program. Go and do whatever you did for money and forget about master and such stupid mind games. You have a life and don't waste it time.

If you have finished the master program (mind you until this moment you have earned 0 Liras), make sure you find a job place to work in. Usually high tech jobs are none because people and goverments are too stupid to do anything. The only thing they do at best is to rise their international debts. Oh and bark at each other opposing party as if they are clowns.

If you still are fucked up, well kill yourself.

Not really .. though, I understand why this bothers you. A very good friend of mine would have the same view, she would detest something because she isn't educated .. with her, it's usually the government.

Then why does getting an education seem stupid to you?
Or, a waste of time?

Most people I know who have a degree, beit, even just an Associates finds this very helpful in finding employment in their field.

What I think is stupid with our system is that all children are given the same education, though, their abilities vary.

If a child is falling and CANNOT learn beyond a certain level, then save this child by providing an outlet, instead of force-feeding him academically. These children end up dropping out of school and have to face the world with nothing except feeling guilty because they felt like a dummy compared to their peers.

If by 13 or 14, or even younger .. if it's recognized that this particular child, is just NOT capable of learning any further .. then have programmes in place in which these kids can learn a trade. This would give them something they can do to feel good about themselves, they will have self-esteem and feel worthy of themselves, instead of rejects. Instead, we MAKE them stay within a system where they have no choice, except to fail .. we've failed the child who quite possibly had great mechanical or artistic ability .. and because they feel like a failure, they may never attempt thier talent because of feeling inferiour.

Not every child is born to be scholar ..

What stupid is?

This is this: Competition

So we have everything in place and the only thing is left is to compete with each other. No it is not. We are stupid ourselves. We are stupid to each other. And we are creators of discomfort.

You are far from stupid .. you're actually right. We set people up to compete with each other by only allowing them the same educational system, when in fact, every person can only obtain what they are capable of, which makes the competition not on equal terms.

I agree. Also the brilliant minds, and wasted potential because of prohibitive tuition costs, on top of all that competition later on. Education should be attainable for everyone, without the overload and stress of endless debt. Who knows when or if we may get our next Einstein or Monet..

Also, it's a shame the same kind of emphasis isn't put into the cultural arts in grade school, as are the regular academic programs. I agree, not everyone is made out to be a scholar. We will always need them, of course; but it's the arts that give life deeper meaning, enjoyment and beauty. We need both.

"That just goes to show you that the true geniuses are not the A+ students that run like mice after a good piece of cheese but the nonconformist rebels that challenges the thinking and doctrines of society."

Interesting thought solitas; i so agree..*we will always need those nonconformist rebels in our world. The freedom-thinkers outside the box, who hold to their convictions and dissimilar beliefs. It's exactly those challenges that promote real growth and a deeper knowledge, for all of us. ..'freedom and diversity of human thought.'

You are right Haffo, and you are not stupid at all. Your words may have changed my mind on a master degree, im with dificults finishing univ, I dont need more waste of life, you are right.

I always had that opinion that exams are stupid, and grades also. I would like to learn how to do things, I dont know how to fix a car for instance. Its all theory, and even that one i dont know. I only know I know nothing.

I?m working already, and Im happy in this place because they see what I worth and not my grades or univ knowledges.

Many ppl in society are blind they only see grades and that paper. family included, they are a pain in the ass.
