Mirroring..normal?

Is it typical behavior for a pisces to mirror other people all the time? It's not something I've experienced before.
What I mean by mirroring is...examples..

I buy butter. Next thing I know, pisces friend buys only butter.
I buy small loaves of bread so it doesn't go stale. Pisces friend now only buys small loaves of bread.
Pisces friend over hears me say something one day, and the next day says the exact same thing to someone else.
I'll have an idea bout something and pisces friend says they have same idea.

I feel kinda flattered as he's a close friend but kinda get annoyed at same time,lol.
Do they do this with all their friends?

Maybe he thinks you have some good ideas, and tries them out himself?

This is a problem? I mean, the opposite would be stubbornly telling you everything you do is wrong, wrong, wrong and THIS is how it should be done properly.. or just thinking everything he does is already done the best possible way so there's no room for improvement, so why bother trying something the way someone else does it?...

Oh wait.. you're a Cap? Caps are more like that, more set in their ways.. I guess it's really baffling you how mutable he is and willing (and happy) to try out others' ways of doing things to find what works the best for him.

mutable...yeah I think that's why now that you mention it. He's just different from anyone I've known before..not that that is bad.

someone else told me that's why he does it. Passing phase? I dunno..known him for years,lol, but we've been spending more time together lately.
