My fellow fish...

Do any of you ever feel the need to just know someone inside and out. Every minor detail about them because you just like them that much, but then get frustrated when it doesn't quite happen because sometimes your Pisces charm doesn't work on them and they don't open up as much as you'd like. Just thinking right now and wondering if anyone ever feels this way, too.

Maybe I do just need to slow down. But there are some people that I've known for a very long time and I feel like I don't know them. My problem is I must want to know parts of them they've probably never shared with anyone that they probably won't ever share.

Same here. And sometimes I feel like I'm annoying people by seeming nosey but it's not the case I just like feeling close to people and that's my way of doing it but I think it scares people a bit because most people don't go very far when trying to get to know someone... I want it all. The good and the bad. The very deepest, dustiest, darkest corners of peoples souls.

That's also true. Because so many people have become so skilled at guarding their hearts, ultimately. Hopefully one day I will become better at finding that one question to knock the wallwall down rather than a million little ones to slowly chip away at the wall.

That's a really intriguing take. I wonder tho if it's less about asking the right question as opposed to waiting for the right moment. Still, a really great question I wasn't expecting might just be what it takes to open up.

I like to understand people and dissect them to understand their inner working like if they were a car, but not with the people that I love because I know people are always disappointing under the hood, so with the people I love I prefer a little mystery (but not too much, I keep an eye open)

That's funny you say that. With me it's always people I'm closer with. Just because I feel like I want to be closer to them and if I have been friends with them long enough and know them well enough I'm not afraid of what I'll find out. It only makes me feel closer because I know the dark things and still accept them.

I can relate! It bothers me to no end when I meet people (who usually seem to be Capricorns and Geminis) that keep their defenses up, even after years of friendship. I think it bothers me so much because for me PERSONALLY, keeping my thoughts and emotions sacred only to be known by my own self would kill me.

I hate thinking that someone would have issues they try and tackle all on their own. It's partially pride and not feeling a worthy/trusted comrade, but mostly sincerely caring about the person.
