As a pisces, I dated a Leo once... it didn't really work out. But, two things that come to mind is that pisces needs a muse, and Leos love to inspire, so, inspire! Make that spindle weave the dreams of what could be if he does X.

Workaholic??_is that a Pisces thing? I know so many Pisces that work their lives away. It's amazing a Pisces dedication to work.
Once we get started we dont like to stop til we done. I dont know bout other Pisces but I go to work to leave work, so i can go back to being lazy, time flies when you moving.

I'm a 3rd decan Pisces with a virgo rising, leo moon, and venus in aquarius. I can relate 100% to what your BF is doing. I'm not sure whether all Pisces males are like me but your BF probably operates best in an extreme fashion. When motivated he'll work like a dog (in the utmost extreme fashion possible) and when he has spare time he'll literally be the most laziest person you've ever met, watching youtube videos, listening to music, etc (just like me). As hard as this is for me to admit it's that being motivated results from external inspiration - so don't be afraid to give him a good kick in the backside. I can tell you as a Pisces guy that I prefer it when someone forces me to do something rather than having to do it on my own because 10 times out of 10 if I'm forced to do something I'll do it. I'm not exactly sure how you're going to force him to do it, but you have to knock some sense into him because this seems like an opportunity he shouldn't pass up. Try reasoning with him and if that doesn't work, lock him in a room... : )

Because Pisces love to be taken care and pushed by their female counterparts...and who else to do this than a Capricorn / Cancer - cardinal signs... it's so attractive to see women that aren't afraid of taking the lead and initiating action. Why did I exclude Aries...well I think that's obvious... Pisces + Aries = FAIL...even more of a FAIL than a pisces with a gemini (if that's possible).

Yes I believe so at least for me. For me specifically, I believe that a capricorn is the best match (sun sign only) and even more so over a cancer or scorpio. Caps are very well grounded and their earthlike qualities make for exceptional marriage partners. Also, they aren't pushy and are very understanding and not really the types to judge others (like pisces)...additionally they aren't very outgoing which is perfect for a pisces, LOL. That's NOT to say they are complete shut-ins or anything... lol.

From my personal experience I don't seem to get along with Aries very well. I think they are great people, but I associate best with them in a cordial or distant relationship. To be honest, Aries come across as very impatient, selfish, poorly tempered, and know it all showoffs. It conflicts highly with pisces which are more laid back, understanding, patient, and more emotionally mature. I think there's a reason why pisces are the final sign of the zodiac and the Aries child is the first. I don't really understand why they say Virgos are the opposite sign to Pisces... I think Aries should be... I get along very well with every single Virgo I've come across and with Aries...well they are from another world...the opposite of a pisces. I personally wouldn't get into a relationship with one of these but I'm sure there are rare examples where it works and I'm happy to hear that.

I didn't make it past the op .. it was enough to realize that you are judgeing from your own mind, and letting him decide from his own mind.
If a person "REALLY wants" something .. then they do it. If a person doesn't do it of their own accord .. then it isn't really wanted.
You can see opportunities in his life and it apparantly irritates you that he would rather decide for himself, rather than listen to you when you've made a decision about what he should do.
What you think is right or good for him, means absolutely nothing, unless you're his mother.
Pisces will defy control .. try it, and see how frustrated you will be.
Of course, you've come in here and asked the question on what to do, so it's obvious that it never dawned on you to try and inspire him ... oh no .. you're gut tells you to want to make him know what YOU THINK is right for him.
