WTF??

the short version:

him : scorpio-venus in sag
me: virgo- venus in libra

we've been up and down for 6 months, he started to take me for granted, and i called the whole thing off. He kept perusing me, and and 2 months later i decided to finally give him another chance and go on a date. His parents flew into town that following week and he tells me his mother knows all about me and he'd really like me to meet his family. They flew in from europe so i say yes, considering the fact it might not happen again anytime soon. Besides a few stolen kisses here and there I've held off from anything physical with this guy, but he continues to take me out to dinner and call and text me all the time. He's having a party for his birthday tonight. I found out last night he's been dating someone else—? for months!!! (a friend of his slipped up and mentioned something about the other girl in front of me) I don't think she met his family, so I'm completely confused on what the hell he wants from me? I told him i was pissed that he didn't tell me about her and that she's going to be there tonight ?? He likes me, i have no doubt about that. What i don't get is he's asked that i still come to his party, After finding out about this girl i said that we can't be anything but friends, which I'm not sure i can even do that. I told him if i come he has no right to get mad that I'm talking to other guys. which he said he'll be jealous but he agreed.

so why does he want me to come and why does he want to be my friend so badly?

He's admitted he'll be jealous, he's admitted that he likes me
but won't be in a committed relationship with me and is dating someone else?? he'd rather i show up and what?? torture himself? he wants to continue to take me out to dinner and if i date someone else he doesn't wan to hear about it?

can someone please tell the logic behind this??

I don't quite understand the whole neptune venus part.. but I am through. i'd just like to understand it?

sagi venus is not the easiest with commitment😉 you can go to dinners, date others and don't hide that fact, and not sleep with him in any way and see what happens. him introducing you to the family is pretty important i think.

Yeah so apparently he kept a close watch on me at this party last night (he commented on me leaving the party for a little while , he wanted to know where i went), while he kept his arm around this girls he's dating. He tried a few time to chat with me, I was courteous but didn't stick around long. He called today to see if his behavior was ok .. make sure I had a good time? (personally i think he was probing for info and who i talked to) I took advantage of the party scene and racked up a few dates for the up coming week, BUT one of the guys that asked me out is a good friend of this scorp, and i have a feeling he's not going to be to happy when he finds out. do i say nothing and let him find out or do i mention it?

you don't have to explain anything to him. let him find out on his own😉 you're a free woman here. what would happen if you'd tell him that you don't have much time to talk to him since your social life keeps you very busy lmao

So this scorpio and my dad have the same birthday.. talk about fulfilling a stereotype. I think thats why I'm so hung up on him, because my dad is awesome. Maybe I'm just head over heels for his potential.

Not too good. They put up a "couldn't care less" demeanor but watch their body language. They can't handle it when they get dumped (they rather do the dumping themselves....it's an ego thing)

When breaking up with a scorp, try to make it look like it was their idea all along. Less drama that way.

KatsM, Ariesgirl, i have a scorp with ven is sag too but why should we even care anymore , why not we do what they do and have the same attitude as the men instead of trying to be good All the time trying to make it work with them. Either it is or not going to work but in the meantime don't put your life on hold for their jerk ways.

haha see thats what makes it harder.. its not that they're complete jerks.. he's actually extremely sweet and charming to me, but when he F's up its usually a big and he can't see what it is he did wrong, But he is still willing to be reasonable and try to talk about. Thats why its so hard to tell them to F* off

"People who gets up in the morning to take breakfast and go to the work, come back and eat supper, watch TV and do sex" - are you trying to convince yourself that you're doing anything different then the "regular commitment ppl"? you're the same exact way only you think you're above all that. i personally find that my scorp is exciting when he's around other ppl and when he's home he doesn't want to anything except watch tv and his sports. i actually find him boring at times. you take him out of his familiar envoronment that he can't control and then he gets uncomfortable and not that all fabulous.
i don't care about that piece of paper that says marriage but i do want a commitment and i " need people who wants to learn, to move, to see, to understand."

my scorp with venus in sag once said " he didn't want a girlfriend right now because he has to be social and network a lot at this stage in his career, if he had a girlfriend he'd want to stay in on saturday and cuddle up to a good movie, and that scares him"

To original poster. Scorpio men (my godfather and one I was involved with) seem to perfer to be involved with more than one woman often until they really get serious about one in particular. Then they focus on her only. Scorp men need to be satisfied in every area of a relationship or he seems to wonder. There is always "the one woman" in his life even in these circumstances. But who wants to be "one of" anything. Not me. I can only be "the one" at this stage or any stage that is serious.

If he agreed that you talk to others although he said he'd be jealous that is strange, they normally have a double standard. Want to see and do what they want and put stipulations on you. They kill me with that, but some women gladly give that to them. They seem to always want the one who doesn't though IMO.

Strangely enough in my experience they will stay in a marriage or a long term relationship even if they aren't happy just because they "promised" or "commited themselves" yet still have others on the side. What kind of commitment is that. So different from us scorp girls. We are never aftraid to walk away even when we love someone and soon after it is like they were never in our lives or either we can become platonic friends with them after like we were never in a intimate relationship before. Not too many women can do that especially water signs, as we are emotional creatures.
