What do all of you pisces out there do to make a living? How do you keep the dough rolling in to support yourselves?
I dare say if music or the arts are not involved, much less anything that gives you a medium for creative expression, I can pretty much guarantee you that you are miserable in life.
Which fish are you, the upstream swimmer or the weak, "go with the flow type"?
Tell me your profession in life, and I'll tell you who you are.
And oh, I'm a musician, btw and that is how I support myself and by current cancer g/f.. And cancers are very material oriented, so I hope if you're with one you have the dough rolling in too because you'll need it!
Well, seavixen for what it's worth, I think that Nursing is a very noble profession. Although unrelated to music and arts, it's definitely a profession that I see pisceans thriving in because it requires nurturing and caring... Two things that Most pisces people are endowed within abundance and are willing to give to others.
Nurses are also in demand like never before and decently paid as well, so I would think that nursing is an exception to my rule about Pisces needing to be involved with musical, artistic or other mediums in order to be happy. In fact, I think I'll make an amendment to that rule so that healing is also included.
So as of now, if you are a pisces whose profession does not involve music, arts/creative mediums or HEALING, then I can most likely gurantee you that you are not only miserable in life, but a loser as well.
Good for you, seavixen for making a positive contribution to humanity... That's what all true upstream swimmers do anyways..
Wow.. I think that people an work in nursing homes and DONT abuse the elderly residents are truly honorable..
I mean, I am against people putting their elderly loved ones away in some nursing home to rot to death, but at least if thy can get some kind attention and some nurturing, genuine love from a nurse or two while there, that makes it that much easier for them to do their time there..
Funny how nursing homes seem to be an American thing.
Every other country seems to respect and revere their elders and if you ask most people outside of the us if they would ever consider putting thier loved ones in a managed care facility, the answer will be a resounding NO.
But I guess with Obamas new health care bill, managed care facilities may just go out of business because they'll just euthenize any person they deem tone beynd care, or in other words, anyne who is cheaper to kill than to keep alive...
Unless you are extremely wealthy of course.. There will always bemanaged care for ppl who can afford it no matter how expensive it gets for average Americans..
Anyway, I applaud all younurses... Especially the ones who practice HEALING and not tradtional invasive western medicine which focus on treating symptoms and not providing cures.
After all, if all illnesses and diseases were cured, I guess there would be no multi billion dollar "health care" industry that focuses on hawking dangerous pharmaceuticals to insure that you stay sick and diseases so those greedy pharmaceutical companies can stay in business and fatten their pockets.
drifters (esp if they have rich parents who can help them if they get stuck in a tough situation) low paying labor jobs (moving stuff, washing dishes, etc) music computers/technology/gadgets jobs involving plants/trees street pharmacy hustling just about anything...even with legitimate work, pisceans are excellent hustlers.
let's see here... i don't know many pisces but this is what they do/did.
my drummer (obviously a musician) helps run his parents' business. he's the all-around guy who waits, busses tables, etc. he used to help run a music studio but they were struggling due to shitty economy. i know another one who's a bassist for a band. i think he's a college student and unemployed. my grandmother was a florist. a long time friend of mine is a CNA and is not creative whatsoever. she probably is miserable but not because of her lack of creativity. she made a lot of shitty choices early on in life... actually, she pretty much is living the same life as my grandmother did. hmph.
I know two Pisces guys (one is an ex and the other a friend of a friend) and one is a psychiatric nurse and the other is a contracts manager for a large oil company.
A few pisceans I know... #1 works for a drug recovery/homeless hospice. (rocks at it) #2 manages a supermarket chain (pretty miserable) #3 landscaper, hustler, musician (happy person)
My pisces rising - dreams up fantastic ways to spend life doing creative, rewarding things that involve helping people My cancer sun - comes up with a plan to do these things while making alot of money My aries moon - goes for it!
I've done that 3 times now, and it keeps me in a non-materialistic, but rich life style that I think cancers require
At the end of most days, I smoke a blunt, play my drums, write, go dancing...whatever. I always smoke a blunt though.
