Pisces Can't Read

So it's starting to dawn on me what "mirroring" with respect to Pisces truly means and how this relates to that horseshit I keep coming across regarding Pisces being able to FEEL and READ other people's emotions...and Virgo knowing/understanding other's thoughts.

Emotionally, with Pisces, it's generally you get what you give. If you're in a decidedly sour mood, they will be too. If you're playful, they will breakout the Legos. If you're sullen, overwhelmed, elated...you will always find comfort for your feelings in Pisces.

This isn't to say that Pisces doesn't have his/her own emotions but one-on-one, they are more likely to flow into your emotion than display an outpouring of their own. But I was talking about Pisces mirroring sooooo...

It's all a poorly constructed illusion. Isn't it?

No one can truly FEEL/READ you. No one can FULLY step into your shoes and relay events that are tinted by your PERSONAL outlook and experiences. All the events of my past encompass me and given no one can be apart of each and every one of those experiences, the only way for someone to TRULY feel what I feel is for them to be a mirror of me.

Thus, Pisces mirroring is an illusion...watercolor images. But to and for whom is the question?

I think problems in relationships arise when Pisces gets the signals wrong. When they can't interpret feelings/emotions in another easily, the image they choose to mirror is distorted...keeping in mind, the mirror itself a fun house to begin with.

anyway, so i was thinking about most of the posts that come from the "why did my pisces..." vein and in some cases, it's due to an emotionally illiterate pisces.

this of course goes along with the same types of threads you get in the virgo forum. most relationship failures over there are due to a virgo who doesn't think too good but i'm digressing...

the mirror itself is distorted, the emotion being reflected back is also distorted and here's where the problem arises...

what if your fish is arrogant?

what if they believe that the distorted image, in the distorted mirror is a true reflection? what if they don't realize or fail to acknowledge that it was them, not you, who created this bastardized version of your/self?

it would stand to reason why this question, "WHY ARE ACTING THIS WAY?", is commonly uttered in regard to both signs.

when a good relationship with a pisces/virgo goes wrong, if the pisces/virgo has seemingly changed from an angel to a demon, it's because they feel/think they KNOW you. sometimes they're right. most of the time, they're wrong. after all, it's their illusion.

none of this made sense i'm sure but yeah...

if you're a "good" person who believes that you were a "good" partner and that you've done "nothing" wrong BUT YET...

your pisces/virgo tore out your heart and soul and left you alone to wonder "WHY DID HE/SHE LEAVE?", don't fret. it's not your fault.

the cowardly departure is due to their acceptance that the distorted images created by false readings are true.

if you're trying to rekindle the romance, i guess the only question left is, "How do you break the mirror?"

Verbalise your thoughts and emotions!! Otherwise we'll wonder into our world and fill in the gaps with what we think is you. Honesty is key, smash that illusion. Of course by doing that you risk scaring off the fish lol.

i agree but typically, pisces/virgo departures are sudden and seemingly have nothing to do with the last thing that happened but rather, a culmination of grievances perceived by the fish/virgin.

so for the person left behind, it's generally too late if they've already gone. in other words, accept that your virgin is a psycho and your fish belongs in the asylum. THEY saw YOU incorrectly. THEY believed in an illusion, that they created. thus, your ex-partner is NUTS and you're better off. trying to get them to see the real you is generally futile...cause they're NUTS.


now if you're in a relationship currently, i think the key is recognizing when you're being mirrored...which is like, all the time, DUH! so more importantly, when are you being mirrored incorrectly?

what if you're sad about something and your fish interprets that to mean that you're upset with them? so you're walking around sad, they're walking around sad...they're mirroring you and they think they're to blame. so in essence, lena is right.

they need and want to know what you're feeling and thinking. leaving these fuckers to their own devices can spell ruin.

the irony is, astrology tells us they are suppose "just know." the reality, "they just don't"...know as much as they feel/think they do.

Meh. Personally for me its quite easy to just ask and discuss instead of assume. I may assume my gut feeling is right but will always discuss first before making a decision.

that's actually the antithesis of the pisces/virgo position. your sun sign is non-confrontational so there are probably mitigating factors in your chart.

NO... most of the unhappy woman threads are due to a lack of understanding... Virgo Men don't act like other men, and the women simply don't get it -- usually until it's too late.

uhm...there are 12 signs and by virtue of that, no one sign is like any other sign so uhm...wtf are YOU talkin bout?

and virgos got lumped into this because uhm... knowledge can be gained from one sign by looking at the other side of the coin.
