Pisces on Deployment.... :(

I just got word that my Pisces is being deployed October 1st. DEVASTATED.

Please share some special ways for me to keep in contact.

If anyone is particularly web savvy (Winter are you still around—).... is there a way I can post videos for him to see and only him to see? Like a private YouTube channel or something?

What other ideas do you guys have?

Hi! Sorry I let this sit for a bit, real life got in the way. 🙂

I don't want to send "sexy" videos. Period. I was thinking more so of making videos of me out with friends, cooking dinner, at the park with the dogs, etc. etc..... I just didn't necessarily want the channel to be public because I don't want everyone and their dog Spot to see my personal day to day life. I would also like any and all opinions on a user friendly editing software so I can make them as fun and easy viewing as possible!

I am sensitive to the powers at be and would not be one to make nekked vids.

I also came up with another STELLAR idea! I would mail this picture to him directly as a Christmas present.

I am thinking about using a friend's bathroom (she has a beautiful soaking tub circa 1930's in an all white tiled room) and having a friend who is an artistic photographer take some pictures.... here's what I see in my mind's eye....

Winter wonderland!!!! I would like to hang some glittery snowflakes, icy branches and really transform the area that will show up in the picture as a "Winter Wonderland". Then we will develop the photos in a blue wash to emphasize the chilly nature of it.

I am thinking..... I want to sit in the tub and surround myself with towels and whatnot and then then cover the top with a clear shower curtain and then last but not least... a layer of ice!

Basically, it will look like I am submerged in a tub of ice in a Winter Wonderland. Add hair and makeup and a professional editorial photographer....

Something LIKE below, but NOT like this... because I will NOT be sucking a lolli and looking like a sex advert, more TASTEFUL!

Lastly, I want to caption it with something like.... "Is it hot there—" Of course, I will spend some time making that more witty (input appreciated), but since he's going to be in the Middle East over Christmas I thought this might be A. Supers Funny and B. More original than the whore-type nekked vids and nekked photos. (Gross.)

Also, here's an example of a "blue wash" and how it really "ices" down a photograph.

Also, let me say that while my previous post my be of the sexy nature (it;s a Christmas present after all!!!), I'd also love ideas that are more day to day.... other ways to keep him involved with my day-to-day life (hence the videos showing him just regular activities)....

Someone told me the other day that their friends had a life size cardboard cutout of them made and took it out with them whenever they went out and took pictures with it and then sent a photo album of that.... SO CUTE!

I probably wouldn't carry around a life-size cutout of my bf around Houston, but I like the idea of carrying something like a small stuffed animal (maybe a fish—?) that represents him and holding it up in pictures. 🙂 So adorable!

Anyway, these are some of the ideas I am looking for!

I will say this.... my boyfriend is AirForce, but he's not heading anywhere near Syria. 🙂 But, you are right, I definitely do NOT want to have a political discussion...
