Same as P-Angel; if i'm really into something and excited or if it's really important, i'm anything but lazy, quite the opposite in fact. However if desire or interest isn't really there, then i don't expend, unless i have to.. (depressive/melancholy is very foreign to me..) Pisceans are generally known to be rather optimistic & upbeat by nature, (i know i am, and the pisceans i know are very happy, upbeat people..) remember those *rose-colored* glasses + our secondary ruler is Jovial Jupiter.. =)

melancholic ... escapist ... depressive

All three of those would be true for me while engulfed within the shroud of experiencing sensations within the illusion of life. Inside there, which is the escape you read about, life-situations are faced for real value, though, because you aren't a Pisces, this will appear as a total contridiction. While facing the emotional effects of life, within this bubble, if sadness is what we are working through to find a perspective .. then certainly, it will come across from an outsider looking in as melancholy, or depressed.

However, these feelings aren't present on the outside, even if it looks this way to others ... meaning, we can talk, express sad and depressing events, without ever feeling depressed ourselves.

So, it would likely be fair to say that we can be depressive, just not depressed ourselves .... we can talk about these depressive thoughts, feelings, will being completely detached from them to feel for ourselves.

Don't try to figure that out 🙂

Yep, they're true .. however, you'll be hard-pressed to find a Piscean who agrees with their accuracy. In fact, most people (in this community), regardless of sign .... will usually only accept/agree to the positive traits, and deny all of the negative ones.

99% of the population are too egotistical to admit their short-comings, unfortunately. However, on a more positive note ... a Piscean is pretty willing to entertain their inequities if presented to them .. so, that's a good thing for self-awareness and personal growth.

"But make no mistake...they are capable of dealing with reality."

Very true outcast .. We are very much aware of the realities of life, both beautiful and ugly.

i know i am very self-aware (Pisces sun/jupiter) and won't automatically agree with a trait whether it be positive or negative, if it's untrue or very rare just to appease other's. Everyone has many other varied influences in their chart, that can't be denied as it does modify the sun, maybe less or more for others.. Only you yourself can know.. The most you can learn from astrology is the actual real people living it everyday.. I've learned just as much here, as i can from any good astrology book.. *it's all valuable and insightful.
