Oh, ahahahaha. Guys, it's really nothing others would find exciting. No, no marrying or anything like that.
Back a few months ago I sat down with someone who was apparently going to go home and commit suicide, but he didn't after sitting down with me. I got a message later from the school system saying that a war vet had passed and I thought it was him. I should have just texted him to see if I got a response, but I don't think I really wanted to know for sure. Anyway, he texted me...yesterday? He said he was over in Africa helping the military get supplies across to refugees. He talked about how he was thankful he got the opportunity to really help people, instead of before in the military, when he was just protecting the other soldiers he was working with. I was just really happy that he didn't give up and that he was actually happy for getting the opportunity to do what he's doing. Of course, it also made me feel better that he thinks I helped him, though, I only really sat down and listened - something that anyone could do. But, I guess fate passed me this one.

Sorry that that was probably not what you were expecting! I'll try to save posting 'good news' statuses for something you guys will like. Hehe.

This is great news!

That's actually the best thing I've heard in quite some time - and I'm not being facetious either.
The world seems to be a very selfish and entitled disaster these days?_ and then?_ again.
I've been very despondent about the affair of "society" - on a very impersonal level lately.
So yes, dear Scenic, I am glad that you shared that with us!

Thank you
