Hi there.Im new to dxpnet. Its nice to find a place like this where Pisceans can relate to one another.
Ive read a good bit about the Pisces personality from what I hear there are two types of Pisces, one who goes with the flow, and one how goes against it.
I think Ive been goin with the flow along time, just goin around in circles in the fishbowl that is my hometown. I feel at times that its ok to do that but Im starting to feel like I need to change my direction in life and take myself to a higher level of satisfaction
Maybe this is a point where Ill have to go against the flow.
Is there anyone here that can say they went against the flow,in a sense changed the direction of their lives and done something that went against the norm.If so what age were you when it happened?
It is not a matter of the flow. Or even defining the flow for that matter. (My moon/inner self is in piseces). I think, it is about simply enjoying the beauty of these paradoxes and contradictions that you find and having a good laugh about it! Because at times everything can be so clear yet so blurry, it is al dependant on how you feel! Anias Nin (Pisces) "we don't see things as they are, we see things as how we are".
Thank you Seavixen,Im reading through that thread and there is alot of interesting ideas being discussed.Especially between P-Angel and Fundamentalist.Im gonna read through it some more before I give an opinion. To Illusion,I think for a Pisces it is kind of important to define and understand what the flow is in their life.Going with the flow,I used used to roll with everyone down to the pub after college. It was the easy-going way of the flow. Its quite is easy for me to lose myself in that type of flow because once I start drinking I dont really stop.Going with the flow in that sense is easy to do and a bit of fun but a Pisces relishes the escapism that alcohol provides them.To me that is downstream swimming.Upstream would be going home after college and doing strength training, pushing through the discomfort and making self-improvements.
but if you were constantly restricting your alcohol intake are you really enjoying life or simply living the way that society wants you to live. are you then living YOUR dream, YOUR world.
imagination, escapism can be a healthy form of long term planning. balance, and the right people around you. what is right, you should know yourself 😉

Ye cheers I read that.It seems that with every new advance or development in the self, the world or technology comes a new problem or a co-existing problem grows.
yeh well, the lucky thing for us, is that because we're water signs. we're fluid as f! change is the only thing that is constant. cliche but it's cliche for a reason. i mean, im a way i'm happy that there are these advancements, if not, life itself would be pretty plain....
afterall, with all the imagination and no developments in human society, they'll never be able to catch up (they never will but the distance will obvs increase).
Oh you're a Cancer.Excellent.Two of my best mates are Cancers. Both have great imaginatons and drive to go with it.One of them is a bit wrapped up in himself and falling victim to alcoholism. The other one is highly creative and has a hilarious sense of humour,(well both of them do)we go on long walks together and talk about everything and anything. All the rest of my mates are Geminis and great to talk to aswell.
