I was on the phone with a friend and he says he's in Texas. Something told me no he isn't. Then about a week later, I heard his GPS talking and the streets sound like New Jersey where he is from. We're not dating and I'm not emotionally invested. I know street names are common from state to state.

I also go with my gut, but I don't want to feel crazy. I also don't want to confront him because there's a possibility I'm wrong and there's not a solid reason I should doubt him. Usually, I'd just say nothing but watch out for confirmation.

How do you guys handle your intuition?

I trust it. Sounds like you should too.

If my intuition were telling me something like that, I'd just ignore it. It's not my business where my friend is at and if he's lying to me then I don't even care to get involved in his personal matters. If it was something that was important to me or affected me, then I would just ask about it. Although I don't think it's intuition if you actually have reasons for thinking that way, such as the street names, right? Intuition is usually something you think without there being any hints or clues. If you never heard his gps would you still think he was lying? Not to get all technical, but sometimes I can't help it.

I understand what you're saying. If it doesn't impact your decisions or life path, honor your intuition, but just chill. The dirt always comes out in the wash. You know that. I've had similar things happen and the fact of the matter is, people lie. Sometimes they lie for sport, so...I mean, just let it be and go on from there. Now, if there's more to the situation thst calls upon you to trust said person and you feel they're not being trustworthy, then hold off on trusting them. Period.
