So me and my ex have broken up for a month now. The reason being he never felt the spark with me, we did not end it on bad terms, although we both cried a lot. He sort of went back and forth with his feelings, that he wasn't sure what he wanted, but he didn't want to hurt me, and he broke up with me, and at the end he told me something along the line of if he changed his mind, he hoped I would give him another chance. I wouldn't think of getting back with him as I knew there was something missing between us, he was an amazing guy but we both agreed going our separate ways was the best for both of us. He texted me a week after we broke up and asked if I was doing ok, cuz he knew my mom was leaving me to go back home (I only get to see her once a year, and he knows I grew pretty attached to her during her time staying with me). Then I bumped into him a week after that, only to tell him that he was the last person I would want to see ( I was still hurt at this point). He seemed a bit upset after I said that, he said "OK then" and left. Not that I want to get him back but it's been on my mind that I said such a mean thing to him, if anything I wouldn't want to lose him as a friend in the long future, cuz we care about each other. Do you think I should reach out and apologize to him and clear the air?
