Now, we all know when a scorpio and aries get together for a relationship its very passionate and aggressive (especially in th bedroom, lol) soo this guy im with is an aries with an Aquarius rising, and im a scorpio with a Sagittarius rising. well, i know that aquarius and sagittaruis get along wonderfully, but aries and scorpio have a lot of tweaking to do, so i was wondering if this relationship is gonna work (romantically)?

**i was wondering if our rising signs soften our personalitys?

This surprisingly does work if the female is scorpio and male aries..
I have seen a lot of these couples and they do work. An aries guy at work has been with his scorp girl for 11 years now and they've tied the knot last year. Another aries/scorp couple been together 5 years and tying the knot next year. It has it's ups and downs but what relationship doesn't..as long as you both are pig headed about everything and are mature enough to reach common ground, it will work..and it's a good combo.

Yay to Aries & Scorp couples 🙂 ...only if the female is scorp though..not sure about the other way around..I think the Scorp men are a lil too intensive and smothering for our free spirited Aries chicks in my experience..Hell scorp guys are too bloody intense for a Scorp chick!!..lol

Nov Scorp is right..we do have a lot in common. I haven't met an aries guy or girl that I haven't gotten along with. They are very similar..Fellow Martians of course..

I have come to discover that the scorpio women seem to be ruled by Mars and Scorpio men have more plutonian influences..just perception..

But then you do get the Scorpio man/woman whores..eeeek...

Well, I think the relationship will naturally work itself out just because of the main fact that you guys have more in common (mentally & physically) than you don't have in common. Aries & Scorpio are attracted to eachother's fierceness, their strong will to be number 1 in everything they do, plus not to mention, their intense cravings for sex alone will carry the relationship to new levels.
BUT
The only thing that I can see going wrong for this Aries, Scorpio relationship is a Scorpio's tendancy to turn into a completely different person once he's 100% attached. An Aries likes her freedom & feels that she can see you 3 times a week and still love you the same as a couple that saw eachother 7 days a week. And hey, in the beginning a Scorpio won't mind not showing his controlling side or his possessiveness because he recognizes that this trait about him often scares the "independent" off, but eventually, he won't be able to hid this side of him & when it comes out, it might catch the Aries off guard & scare her off because she has always been her true self from the beginning.

The relationship can work if you understand the concept of "loving hard."

Sorry but it is a huge pet peeve of mine when people just go on general sun signs. And forget about the moon, mercury, mars, and venus signs.

To be honest, as accurate as astrology is I think too many people use it as a crutch to justify/rationalize their behavior. Rather than try to change themselves for the better.

It is also about how you were raised, and your maturity level. Here's my perspective on aries/scorpio if we are only going to go on sun sign level.

For me it is not about being a clingy douchebag. I give women I date plenty of space. It is not about spending a lot of time together. For me it is having the opportunity to get a lot of sex in. I have a really high sex drive and once a week wont cut it. May as well just be single and wack off to the latest flick on Cinemax.

Here is my compromise with fire signs. We dont have to hang out together for a long period of time. It is simple - I make you cum, you make me cum. Then you can jump out of bed and be on with your day. And you only hear from me if you decide you want to talk or hang out.

That is a pretty easy compromise to make isn't it, fire signs?

Well unfortunately for you, sign compatibility has many factors other than just sex. And you're right. Sun sign, mercury, venus, mars, & all that good stuff do play into it but then again, it depends on how deep the person wants our answers to be. Sometimes when you first meet someone you don't have all of their information (Sun sign, venus, mercury, etc.) but you atleast know their birthday so I think until people can get that information on the other person, they kind of fish for any little piece they can get based off of what little information they do have. Someone's Sun sign tells you alot about that person & sometimes, all it takes is to know the sun signs for each person, and sure you probably won't get the most accurate information but a little background & a little "yay or nay" can be advised.

I dont disagree with that Renee. But I really believe that looking at a persons entire chart should be the best way to go. If you go "Oh they're a gemini, nevermind" then you may be missing out on that person without doing furthur resch.

My mother was a Leo and my Dad a Pisces. On paper, that is not supposed to work right? They were happily married for almost 20 years. If you look a little closer at their chart it will offer some explanation.

My mom had a Cancer Moon and my dad had a Sagittarius Moon. So basically both had water and fire signs so they were a good match.

Zen, you crack me up. Are you a dude or a girl BTW?

Well the same arguement goes with this statement: Even with knowing someone's full chart, should that be the basis for which moving on with that person is a "yay or nay?" I believe in astrology & it helps when it comes to self-awareness but I don't agree with people who base their own understandings of themselves soley based off of astrology, or to be more specific, a chart because even with knowing someone's full chart, there are other factors that play into personality & character flaws/traits that are not astrology based. For example: A male Scorpio between the ages of 17-25 might show completely different characteristics than a male Scorpio between the ages of 35-46. Your geographical location, age, race, & life experiences can easily clash with certain findings. The fact that life experiences in themselves can easily sway someone's character traits & personality means that astrology will never be 100% or even 90% . I believe that in astrology there is alot of "coincidence", but coincidence & fact are 2 completely different things.

Not everybody who wants to know your sign is fully educated in length about astrology & how all of conclusions from the data were measured. So, yes, while it's true that one shouldn't completely distance themselves from someone without digging deeper into their astrological chart, there are still some instances when people don't feel the need to go that deep because it's too much of a headache. Right now at my age, everything I'm reading about Aquarians seems to be right on the money! But who's to say that in 5 years from now (time + major mid life crisis), I'll be reading the same "description of Aquarians" post & completely disagree.

Thus, technically, astrology is not the best & most effective way of measuring someone's worth because there are too many factors that can easily sway or clash with the data in a flash of a second

There have been times when I've studied my own chart & came to the conclusion that it was only 50% right. Sure, I could've been in denial about what I was reading or I could simply not allow those findings to accurately fit my personality because sometimes they just don't. And if some of the time (more than enough) my own chart is wrong about me than there's a HUGE possibility that while reading someone else' chart (particularly the one you're interested in) that the data could be wrong or slightly inaccurate.

So, sure I could read my mate's chart & sometimes get a general understanding of how they are & why they are the way they are, but if I base my entire belief on whether or not the relationship will work out (simply based on astrology alone), it would be no wonder, people who study astrology to the deepest extent don't always find happiness.

It's no different than when they say "if your so pyschic, then why don't you know the winning lottery numbers?" It's the same arguement with astrology. Even if I knew my own chart & my mate's chart & had a full understanding of the advantages/disadvantages & flaws of the other person, that still doesn't guarantee the relationship will work out. There are plenty of polar opposites that have the longest lasting relationships just as much as those who use the other person's chart as a means of determining or measuring how good or bad the relationship will play out.

That is why I say, sometimes simply only knowing the person's sign sometimes can be enough for me because even if I get deeper into their chart, there's still no guarantee
