Meat is more than just a 'condiment' for most.

You will both have to compromise. He eats at vegetarian places and you eat at regular restaurants and just not have meat. I don't see anything wrong with making him meat either once in a while, just as it would be nice if he made you vegetarian dishes...unless of course even preparing meat without eating it goes against your beliefs..dunno how that works.

I just HAD to answer this question 🙂
Having been a vegetarian for oh 17yrs by personal choice it is 'normal' to me and I could never start eating meat. For me it is more of an ethical issue and I am slowly working my way to becoming vegan.

It is however very difficult to find vegetarian guys, they are few and far between!
I dont have a problem with dating meat-eating guys providing they accept my choice and are respectful about it.
I couldnt date someone who tried to change my views or argue it with me. bye bye!

If I am dating someone then I will casually mention that I wouldnt kiss someone after they had just eaten meat. I would let them know this not during a meal but in general conversation when getting to know one another. Usually they end up going for veggie food whilst eating out with me. Which is really nice as they are being considerate.

I would never ever cook someone meat (I wouldnt know how to either!) so it might pose a problem if I were to live with a guy or get married. So if I do get married eventually it will have to be to a vegetarian! Or at least an animal lover whos views on meat eating are persuadable hehe.

im a vegetarian and gemini isn't. it kinda freaks me out but the guy eats anything and he never complains so 90% of his meals are vegetarian because i do most the cooking. i cook him meat sometimes though...ill throw a pot roast and a bunch of other stuff in the slow cooker before work so he can have it when he gets home. he says it tastes good but i kinda have to take his word for it 🙂

... you should never compromise on your eating habits..if you are making dinner for him, you cook the best damn vegetarian meal you can make..and if he doesn't want to try it..then that's shame on him.

... of course this doesn't work vice-versa if he cooks you a meal with meat..that's just him being a jerk.

I think this topic is odd.

Every resturant I've ever gone to .. the menu has both items on it.

And everytime I've ever cooked a meal .. we had both meat and vegetables to choose from, as well as a starch and bread.

It's like .. if you own blue clothes then you are forbidden to look at green ones?

I think people actuall (((LOOK))) for things to be at odds about ... if it isn't broken, then don't try to fix it ....

.... seriously .....

why must people insist on making problems?
