The more a guy shows intrest the more I pull away

Am I wierd ? Does anyone have the same problem? When ever I decide I like a guy everythings great then when they start texting a lot ,or calling too much ,I feel like I'm being smotherd and I become distant .on the flipside when a guy ignores me and has other things to do it's a turn on and I pursue him .why us this ? Do you guys think it has to do with my sighn? Thanks 🙂

Im a Libra and I act exactly the same. I have rejected some realy great guys because they gave me to much attention. sounds even more ridiclous if you knew me because I am such an attention seeker! for some reason I resally like guys who dont pay me attention. I'm just all about the chase...

It's not just a Libra thing. I'm an Aquarius and I do the exact same thing. If a guy starts to come on too strong, I fall back. If he can't get the hint that he's doing too much, I disappear altogether. I hate feeling smothered or that someone's happiness rides on me. I love it when a guy has a life of his own. I prefer relationships to have a light and airy quality to them. However, this doesn't just apply to romantic relationships. The same rule applies with friends and family as well. Give me room to breathe.

Think thats more about Aquas wanting their freedom. I as a Libra dont want space, I love someones happiness riding on me i just like guys who show me no interest lol. Theres no funin having something which I can just take, I want to work for it 🙂

Lol yes in most cases, the chase is more exciting then the catch! Unless i have genuine feelings for the person (which is rare)

Twenty/thirty years ago when I was at the dating stage of my life ... yes, I would have thought that to be very wierd.

Now, in comprehending that the majority of women are players and like to fuck with mens' head .. no, it's not wierd.

What I do find wierd though .... is this very thing women always bitched about and hated it that men were players and fucked with women's heads .. so, it is very strange indeed that women are doing the very thing they bitch about, and have no clue they are hypocrites

Honestly though I do think it's a Libra thing more than a woman thing. I'm a Gemini and adore communication. I like being always connected with people in my life let alone the person I love. I don't tend to go all crazy with phone calls, texts, and emails. But I noticed that once you start getting serious with a Libra and actually in the mode of texting or calling even once a day they pull away. Ignore them for a while then they come back, sometimes even asking you if there was something wrong lol.

for me (libra), it's not about space. it's about pressure. i don't like feeling like someone is demanding a part in my life. i don't like it when a guy is pushy.

but i also don't just disappear. i'll tell guys that i need to move slow, that i'm not always able to answer the phone or reply to a text. i ask them to be patient. if i like someone, that's just that, and he should just relax and trust me.

if someone can't respect simple boundaries early on, he probably isn't very respectful further in either.

and i also don't chase after guys who don't want me. a couple times i kind of chased guys that i thought liked me but had gotten nervous or were insecure or whatever, usually because they lied to me from the get-go, so it's not like i was just some delusional fool. they lied, and my gullible libra self took them at their word. but i've never been one to work for much. if it isn't easy, i don't want it. and if a guy really does like me, but not enough to treat me right, i wouldn't be happy with him anyways, so good riddance.

sounds to me like you keep going after emotionally unavailable men because it's safe. you don't have to worry about anyone prying into the depths of your being because that would make you vulnerable. you hate being vulnerable because it weakens your defenses and allows them capability of truly hurting you.

or it could be a plethora of other reasons.

I noticed that communication style s differ from one sign to the other. Some would like to always be connected to the person they love and others don't. Bet someone should know better before falling for a person with the opposite communication style lol.

You enjoy taking on the masculine active role in the chase and most likely in relationships too. You like to be the one pursuing and chasing, rather than being chased. At the risk of making an unfounded assumption, it almost sounds like a control issue to me. You feel more in control when you're the one doing the chasing and pursuing.
