I am madly in love with my boss. He is a Cancer. I am a Libra. I feel an attraction between us. However, there are many odds going against us. 1) He is my boss, 2) He doesn't come out and say what is on his mind, 3)We cannot act upon our feelings because of our working relationship, 4) Other colleagues will gossip 5) He does things to make me jealous, 5) I am frustrated to the point of giving up on him altogether. I am in knots!!!!! I can't take this anymore. I don't know what to do. We flirt on a daily basis. He touches me accidentally on the arm, wrist. Whenever he sees me, he sings or whistles to himself. I feel the chemistry. This is real torture!!!!!! I want to say something, but I don't wantto lose face. HELP!!!!!!

Do not say a thing! He is your boss. If you start the relationship, and it ends badly, he can get you fired, start bad rumors about you, or basically just make your life hell at work (trust me on this, I dated my boss once...). Also, dont say a thing because you are the woman and he is a man, and if he really likes you he should be man enough to own up to it and put his own butt on the line at work. Right now, he is just a guy, who has the power in the relationship because he is the boss, who is enjoying the sexual tension and the flirting. Back away slowly though, he might not like the change in circumstance if you totally back away too fast.

Thank you Archer! Leokitten, yes I am still in love with him. We haven't progressed beyond mere flirtation. I feel the chemistry between us, but it is as if we are instinctively avoiding confrontation. He will observe from a distance and be very nonchalant. He talks with others with such ease. When it comes to me, it is as if he is holding back. It makes me feel as if I am unapproachable or taboo. I wish I can get beyond this. I am totally frustrated.

Hi Archer!

I really agree with you! He should be the one to come to me. I flirt incessantly with him and he does too. He has a very undirect way of making his way to me, I have noticed. He speaks with everyone in our work group first, then deliberately walks past me. Ok, fine! Then he will come back in my direction as if he forgot to mention something to me, or pretend to ask for another colleague. Is he trying not to seem so obvious? I think so, but then Crabs like to be indirect.

I have a good story to go with everyone's bad ones.
Started dating my boss - we knew that one of us needed to leave the company (lots of dating in that company but still makes things uncomfortable)....He got a new job somewhere else - we were together for 2 years. A Virgo man - was awesome to me.... 🙂
But let him come to you - if anything happens make sure think about your own future first.

Hello!

Ok--a couple of things:
1. He is not a co-worker--he is your boss. At the end of the day, he will want to save face and that should be your first priority as well, if you don't want your fellow co-workers to talk behind your back or him as a matter or fact--if things don't turn out to be perfect, then he will turn against you--you will either loose your job or your face. Whatever feelings in the meantime will be just temporary.
2. If he was serious about this, he would not be so obviously flirtatious and he would try to protect you. He would ask you out and he would be up front with his feelings.
3. Don't be anyone's playtoy, or give someone the right to abuse his power. A man that uses his power, or that he is playing but not really acting--is simply not man enough...you don't need that..You don't want to trust and give yourself to a man like that..
4. This guy has done this before. You are not the first and you won't be the last. Remember that. Don't give him the satisfaction that he can have you..Flirt with him and play with his mind all you want, but "no emotions" and keep a lady-like and standofish position--and most of all at the end of the day--go home alone..
5. Once you are hooked he will know that and he will try to play with your feelings..he will start being flirtatious with other women to get a reaction from you and the more reactionary you are, the more he will try to push your buttons. And you will get hurt..and you will cry..No need for that.
6. You are a lovely woman that needs to love and be loved back. You are a woman that deserves the best! You deserve a real man that can be there for you, take care of you and make you smile! He does not deserve you!!He does not deserve even the fact you are actually laying eyes on him...Maybe you think you are in love with this guy right now, but my advise is to be patient and observe all his actions.. and everything will be pretty clear in your mind very soon and you will see his true colors and hopefully you will move on and find the guy that is waiting out there for you and he is really really great!!
