New to the site and to Astrology past Sun signs...need some advice on being in love with a Cap sun.

Hi everyone,

I've been in a wishy-washy flirty friendship with a Capricorn Sun for about a year and a half now. There have been times when I was certain that she wanted more but other times it has seemed like she's completely isolated from me. Since she moved away, I have visited her twice and we have been in decently close contact via text message, although I am usually the one to initiate. Ideally I would like for us to move past this weird friendship we have now into something a little more intimate, but I am very unsure of where she stands -- I understand that this is common with Capricorn Suns, and lately I have been looking into the compatibility of our Sun signs and it has me sort of insecure about it. Being that I am a Libra Sun, we are not very compatible in that aspect, but I have recently found my other alignments and I was wondering if any of you seasoned readers could give me some more insight into why a Libra Sun like myself would be so hopelessly enamored with a Cap Sun, and whether you think there's any hope. Do you have any more info re her chart? Also, for more responses maybe copy and paste your query over on the Cap board- they don't bite lol just a suggestion...

Any earth & water placements would natural attract you to her so primarily your moon, venus, mars...then your cap placements too.

She might have libra in her chart somewhere as well.

It's best to get to know people based on personality and not sun sign alone which it seems like you have done, so I would say give it a try. Ask her about moving the relationship forward & see what she says about it.

If I'm talking to you for a year & 1/2, that's a good sign & you have spent time together since she moved...she might me more traditional & that could be why she doesn't initiate or the distance could be a problem.

Thanks for the advice. I have made serious inquiries in the past, although given that I was drinking at the time, I guess it could have been easy to write off. I am thinking the next time I see her I will try to work it into conversation sober, but sadly I don't think I will be seeing her for the next month or so. 😢

I think she's more interested in casual encounters right now, but it's hard to tell. She's incredibly hard to read for me. We've discussed sexual encounters between the two of us in the past while drinking but it seems like when I try to make romantic passes it is met with shyness, flushed cheeks, and an unwillingness to agree or disagree. I've gotten a handful of "not yets."

I'm not sure if it's a Libra thing. I'm normally pretty confident with these things as soon as I have something to go off of. I like to think of myself as naturally flirty and decently good at it, but she's the only person that's made comments about wanting to hook up with me that I've actually doubted whether or not there's genuine interest. I just don't know how to proceed. I feel nervous when flirting with her because it's so hard to tell if it's getting through.

Well from a strictly cap standpoint since we don't know her other placements....

I'm pretty straightforward when I've made up my mind & persistent

Only thing I can think holding her back is 1)previous hurt 2)just getting out of serious relationship 3)distance or 4) not interested, wants to keep you around though

I only know the birth date and year, not the location. Is that enough?
