There might be a surface level attraction but Cancer and Aries are two very incompatible signs. Aries is more quick-tempered, emotions come fast but also go fast. They don't tend to hold on to grudges. Cancers feel deeper, are more emotional and hold on to things for very long.

my current boyfriend is a cancerian with sag rising and I'm an aries with Taurus rising, it kinda works (been 5 months) but we are going to break up shortly because to me he's just a little too indecisive, wavering and smothering and to him I'm not giving enough attention, not enough time spent together ( he says) well anyway maybe ours isn't working because it's long distance now since 3 months but give it a try and find out.
