The answer is simple: he's not interested in a platonic relationship with you; he doesn't want "friendship." He has enough of that from others. What he wants from you is sex, intercourse without having to really deal with you as a person knowing he has the "freedom" to have intercourse with other women with "no consequence." If you don't give him what he wants, he'll lose interest in you and move on.
