i suck it up lol that's all i can do haha
and in my case i'm married so i can't just pack up my shit and go to spain for a year which is what i feel like doin these days lol i'm pretty sure my ass will be presented with divorce papers upon my return lol
i gotta take care of responsibilites first like paying the rent on time and shit lol so my freedom has to take a back seat for now.
but i feel like you're over-thinking it by calling it a problem though. i mean it ain't like you're causing anybody any harm by being secretly claustrophpbic lol

you just gotta make sure you're doing your part for the well-being of the relationship and the rest shouldn't really matter. thats the way i see it.

lol man, i'm trying to figure that out myself!! i guess it all boils down to my stupidity though. other than that i got no excuses for being married at this age lol well right now i'm working as a personal trainer but eventually i want to get into the travel industry. hopefully work on cruise ships. i have a decent amount of experience in hospitality and i'm taking tourism courses and shit so hopefully i'll be able to make that transition soon lol just taking it one day at a time for now lol

yeh cuz when ur single nobody hassles u. ur free to do what u want when u want. u never realize how much of a luxury that really is until u lose it. maybe i've been with the wrong ppl....i dunno but the next person i get with should love their freedom as much as i do or it ain't gonna be fun for either of us.

Exactly! I get spooked very easily when someone moves too fast. I like having freedom in a relationship, I like having an outside life. I am focused right now on so many things (and it's been that way for a while now (mostly with school), and the guys I date tend to not like that. They are all on-board when we begin dating, but soon enough it's "I want you to have more time for me", and when I spend more time with them, the other things suffer. Can't win either way lol. I agree, find someone that has just as much as of a life outside the relationship as much as you do. Good luck!

Yes I feel that way too. I'm a capricorn so I dont know why I feel that way. I yearn for someone who I can love and who wont do the wrong thing by me yet I crave this freedom to do what ever I want. Its rather a strange mix and I am so over it. I am faithful when I know i am in a relationship like a proper one yet the very same thing scares the fuck out of me coz I end up wanting to get out of there and get away. Its really annoying.
I tend to be very wary of relationships yet at the same time I welcome them into my life coz I like to learn and its a rather intersting way of seeing if not many different things. Maybe I havent found the right one for me yet.
Well its more that I am friendly and try to be nice to ppl who go out of there way to talk with me yet I will not go out of my way to talk to anyone unless its something serious or important or I feel I must no matter what. I usually stay by myself and I like it that way yet sometimes I dont. HEHE I am complicated and need to sort myself out.

I can relate to this. I'm not a commitment phobe or a cheater by any stretch of the imagination but being in a relationship at this particular stage in my life drains me like nothing else. Especially because most guys my age are still immature as hell and don't know what they want so they waste my time which I don't appreciate.

winterwrought, yes that to me is what most relationships are like, it like you end up being what the other person what you to do and end being the one that gets hurt emotionally etcetc yeh thats why I dont like to be in a relationship though I do keep my options open but just more prefer to stay by myself so I dont go through what I went thru with my ex I think I must myself from doing this to myself so it never happens again.

this is exactly why i've been single for the past 20 years! i despise immature men who hit on me thinking they have a chance. i don't even wanna talk to them but they're everywhere!!!!

That's good thing. I know some girls who get into relationships with guys they don't even like that much because they're bored. And the guys they date usually end up being more trouble than they're worth. I don't even know why they bother. So what if you're bored?
