word to ease the pain. "Maybe it is meant for next lifetime"

@WaterCup You don't believe men may be spiritual or religious? Are those things reserved for women?

Translation...in your dreams! You'd really buy that? I doubt that many men even believe in that stuff, so I'd still take it as he doesn't want to be with me. Another life, my butt.
I find that when it comes to matters of comforting someone, it's less about what you personally believe and more about what the person you are comforting believes.click to expand

If it was to a man?
*I am a sex Goddess, come and get me*
For them to leave without pain ~
I have become celibate, but have found you a replacement, my twin sister
That should do the trick
😄

Next life is kind of insulting imho at least, so no, I wouldn't buy it. It's a candied rejection *shrugs*
No one is asking anyone to "buy" anything. I thought everyone was to share what they would say in each particular situation. In Impulsv's case, she chose to share what would make her fall in love or comfort HER. The words she shared clearly strikes a different cord with her and shares a different meaning to her. Luckily, she never claimed these are universal words for all women. What works for one may not work for others. That much is very obvious. That's why it's important to know the person you are empathizing with. *shrugs*click to expand

And, yes, telling someone you do not return their love is a form of rejection. That's the point of the OP: how would you go about doing so in a gentle way.

Fourteen words to make someone fall in love with you forever,
seven words to make them go without pain
"
So my questions are can you think of a sentence you would say that would make someone fall in love with you and another sentence that would make them go without pain if you were not in love with them?
Of course you don't have to use the 14 or 7 word limit.
Would it even be possible to make someone feel that way in one sentence? Perhaps if you knew them for sometime, but a stranger?
