I was trying to dig up more info on the woman who married that serial killer (whats his name? dang..) but to no avail.

Shoot! I found it! Richard Ramirez and his unknown briede. Why she did not become famous or have her birthdate and personal life splashed through tabloids still amazes me.

She is a ... ______ (insert sign here). I dont know.

what about the wife of serial killer John wayne gacy...she just so happen to be in his basement and found naked pictures of boys...she divorced his ass on the spot

Just a bit more info on the disorder:

Hybristophilia is a paraphilia involving being sexually aroused or attracted to people who have committed an outrage or a gruesome crime. In popular culture, this phenomenon is also known as "Bonnie and Clyde Syndrome".

Many high-profile criminals, particularly those who have committed atrocious crimes, receive "fan mail" in prison which is sometimes amorous or sexual, presumably as a result of this phenomenon. In some cases, admirers of these criminals have gone on to marry the object of their affections in prison.

Hybristophilia is accepted as potentially lethal, among other such paraphilias including, but not being limited to asphyxiophilia, autassassinophilia, biastophilia and chremastistophilia.

Don't get me wrong, I think there is something very unhealthy about purposely drawing yourself towards those in prison, especially considering there can not be a real and/or fulfilling relationship from it.

BUT, 1 thing I do admire about the women/men who marry prison inmates is their amazing ability to have compassion, to try to understand another human being w/o judgment, their ability to try to help another person whereas society threw them away & was done with them. I think these are traits/qualities that some of us in regular relationships should have. And having those qualities doesn't make a person crazy nor does it mean you have psychological issues.

I think people are so stunned that someone can attempt to show/give love to another person that society has given up on.

Plus it depends. There are some women who, when they're single, purposely go looking for prison inmates. I think the women who do this must have some psychological issue going on.

Then there are the women who decide to stay with their partners even though their partners ended up going to jail/prison later on in the relationship. I'm 50/50 on this. If I had 5 kids with my husband who just got sentenced to 2 years only in prison, MAYBE (depending on what he did), I'd contemplate staying. Maybe. Depends on what he did though.

And then there are the womenw ho stay with their partners even though their partners were given lengthy prison sentences. If my man got 25 years to life, sorry but I've got to move on. Doesn't mean that I have to stop caring for/loving him; it's just that every one has a right at any given time during their relationship to leave persay they are no longer getting their needs met (it's kind of hard to get the same needs met when your mate is behind bars). Some women stay married to the men even after their husbands were given life sentences. Now THAT is just crazy to me

I don't understand that either.
I just left my aries man.He started
dealing and using drugs, went to prison
and I helped him and confronted him
when he got out but things were never
the same and he became a control freak
and extremely jealous and crazy.
I had to end it with him.
I don't like criminals or drugs so I had
to let him go.I didn't know this man but
knew him since we were kids, crazy huh?

yes,& perhaps they did some bad things themselves and were judged harshly
and on some level they feel they deserve a guy like that,or that they
can't get anyone better? Many pretty women don't even know they are pretty
or attractive because they were beat down by abusive people who were suppose
to love them, but in these cases the females have judged themselves too harsh
and haven't tried yet to love themselves.Rarely will a criminal change and if
they do,they must do it on their own or for themselves first.Staying with a
man who breaks the law and has a record for doing it is enabling them even if
you have warned them not to do it again, they don't hear you because you are
with them and to them you love them and will take it.That's allowing it even
if the woman doesn't see it yet!
