When you love someone deeply and long for them to hold you but every attempt they make to get close to you they get pushed away.

It is called fear of vulnerability and possible embarassment to express such deep feelings.......... fear, that what if the other doesnt love as so deeply as well? or we know, that the other person doesnt love us so deeply
It could be fear of intimacy.
Abandonment fear.
