Why Do Ladies Need to Lie

Comments on why ladies/women lie almost all the time?
I have caught so many ex's in lying to me in a relationship and other things that this had made me very leary of anything a woman says.
I have also lied but to more protect someone's feelings that outright lie.
I thought that men lied but looking back, it was unbelieveable of all of the lies that were told to me from my ex's.
Can someone explain this?

Lying isn't really gendered.

It's odd that you have had an excessive amount of people lie to you while in a relationship. Has the thought ever crossed your mind that perhaps you're a controlling bastard?

Lies are convenient for those with major s h it to hide. Women use factual creativity for the same reason countless men do, to portray themselves more righteous than their questionable actions would otherwise suggest.

Lying is a way to cover a deficency within the self. To portray greatness, wisdom and kindness even if they are not self evident. Even one small lie (white lie) is damaging. Most of the time they build, then build, then build and what happens when the person is finally confronted (wether on their own or bcus of outside forces) the lie OR lies come to the surface and the damage has been done. There is no recouping or talking your way out of it, and you look like an ass.

I have two rules-do NOT cheat on me and do NOT lie to me. Prob why I lost my marbles (cried-ALOT) to the Taur. He lied. Wonder why we don't talk anymore-ya think he feels and knows he looked like an ass? hee hee 😉

I refrain from lying... getting caught in a lie is worse than whatever the truth may present. By the same token, I do not take it lightly when someone lies to me, is being sneaky, or otherwise trying to pull the wool over my eyes (which are basically the reasons why I threw the Virgo out on his ass!)
