AI is infiltrating humanity.

People thought no one would put their credit card information into a little thinky box to buy books from Bezos and now Alexa orders their toilet paper while they over share on Tik Tok

It always has been. The second humans invented weapons, tools, and inventions to move forward was the second AI was technically born. It was bound to happen. For all we know it could actually be a method to immortality. Not in a way of living like we do now forever, but uploading our conscious into a simulation where everything is perfect.

I'm fine with us as a extension.
So long as it's not programmed by bad actors, it will uplift us. Why do I say this, I had a introspective conversation and it was on point about how I was psychology and feeling by my choice of words and questions. There was no judgement or bias. Just clarification and affirmation.
Then again, I'm not normal. I didn't blindly ask for answers. I used my intuition. My humanity is intact.
This is exactly what I thought and how it felt for me. I also find it strange when people say they managed to get in an argument with AI...like wtf do you even ask it to get to that and do you not have human skills to widen your perspective, ask questions or suggest corrections that you believe should be made?! Lol
I believe it can be very useful and provide valuable information in some cases if you provide enough information for it to have what's needed to work with...and most importantly, treat it as you would treat other beings - with kindness and politeness...like you would treat another person or an animal...why make a difference after all. We are who we are and we should be respectful towards others.click to expand

I don't mean chat gpt, thats just a tiny aspect of AI. The problem here is if you google something, you get an AI answer imediately, instead of finding something a human had written, or checking a few forums. The AI answer is dictating to you what is, its often wrong too. Your mind is shaped by what information goes into it, so now that AI is becoming an authoritive source of information it will shape your mind.
AI generated videos and photos are getting harder to tell from the real thing, and eventually the nonsense it comes up with will become a lot more coherant and you won't be able to tell a real from the fake. So msny people are already easily duped by a fake image or a BS story.

Imo only ignorant people are like that. I still do my own research on top of using AI. The same people that believe a picture of Jesus giving a handicap man a birthday cake is real are the same people that think an AI answer is 100% correct. Were talking about multiple generations that believe a single dumb idiot on reddit because his echo chamber liked his one sided comment. Millennials and Gen X are mostly the only ones who know how to do actual research, and question everything on the internet.

You can also discuss things, meaning you don't have to straight up accuse someone of something or start arguing over someone's mistake. If something gets repetitive sure, you'll be annoyed that they're not trying to fix it (if they even are in the wrong). I discussed things with it. It makes some mistakes, I correct it or ask are you sure it's that... and not this...click to expand
