How Religious Symbols in Hotels Affect Guest Comfort

Religious symbols in hotels can influence guests' feelings of welcome or exclusion, especially if the symbols are unfamiliar or not aligned with their beliefs. While some may feel uncomfortable, others see it as cultural representation. Personal comfort varies based on individual beliefs and experiences with religious diversity in hospitality settings.

Would you feel uncomfortable checking into a hotel and finding they had a religious logo that wasn't your religion all over the place? For example, a crucifix or Allah akhbar or a manorah, in a country where it isn't the major faith. Would that make you feel unwelcome and excluded?

Nope

I don’t get offended by a Bibles in every room and never I went to a front desk throwing a tantrum about anticemitism and demanding to have at least a painting of Gefilte fish in a bathroom...no. I think I’ve never done that...maybe next time I will. Tomorrow.

It's like those plaques in Arabic calligraphy. It was just the first example that came to my mind because I see it in Middle Eastern restaurants sometimes

I wouldnt have an issue to stay in a muslim hotel or a christian hotel. but Fuck the amish.

Lol what's wrong with the Amish

Don't they live without electricity? I don't think I'd be able to accept a hotel like that either LOL!

I've never seen an Amish person. I don't even know if we have any in Australia but I wouldn't mind the whole night electricity simple life thing for a couple of days.
