My male bestie is a Cap sun and we had something that was as close to an official relationship as one could get. Then...now I'm thinking about it and I attract Caps in spades, so yes. It was cool. My Leo ex hubby is a Cap Moon. Consistent, available, steady, kind of goofy in their romantic pursuits, but at the same time very serious about what they value. That's where things get kind of...sticky. Unlike other guys, these Caps can't laugh off what they hold dear as far as ideals, values, processes, resources. That's one of the fastest ways to get them to dry up on you. Once a Cap dries up on you...God...you probably just want to get out of the relationship. lol I mean, you COULD stay, but things are never ever the same. In my experience, once the relationship quality takes a dip or the relationship quality decreases, things never get back up or rise. You just kind of get stuck in this constant 'is-ness" of the fact that you're in a relationship and things seem to be ok. The gift of the Cap is the fresh start. They don't seem to approach new people carrying the old baggage, though they carry baggage that they hide and will deny until their lips fall off. That's where the shunning of emotions come in. It's not cool to get emo with a Cap upfront. They don't think it's genuine if you get all emo and will immediately suspect that you're playing games or out to try to use them in some sort of way. You have to be kind of reserved with them, but not brutal. They love a good fight so brutality will only result in getting brutality. Caps always go back to the people who they fight with. ALWAYS. The people who they have their best/worse fights with are the ones that they tend to keep around.

Also, I'm a Venus in Capricorn so some of these traits I can relate to when in a romantic relationship or a friendship INFUSED with lots of love.

Yes, two Cappy boyfriends.

Both born Jan 1, both divorced twice, both had custody of their kid.

I really liked the first one the most, but he up and moved back to England quite abruptly. The second one sort of faded away.

I was totally charmed by their dry humor at first. But after a while they changed into Mr. Serious, and the fun sort of died.... I guess.
i could see this but if things are solid and chill then our sense of humor really comes out. i only get really serious when there are financial issues then i feel its not a joking time.
