Rooting for the Underdog

I consider myself someone who doesnt take to kindly to bullies and i find myself rooting for the underdog.


Case in point, i was having a conversation with a guy who i am very interested in. He starts to bad mouth some girl i dont even know. But i felt some sort of way about it. I felt like it was really distasteful.

Although i do respect his honesty about her, i just couldnt get behind his choice words that he showed me that he texted to her.

I was immediately turned off by it. I asked him twice why he was so mean-spirited, because i dont remember him being that way. Those rose colored glasses came off my face so quick.

do you saggis root for the underdog, even if you dont even know them?

i get that. being in the zone or a bad day.

i just wonder in the back of my mind, who he diss me like that 2—?? chances are yes.

Yep. I always do and have. I also hang with the people everyone tends to forget. Popular or not... I'm actually more comfortable with them, because they're just living and not worried about others.

All my life I've always befriended the less popular crowd even if I weren't a part of them. A lot of people seem scared of those who don't seem like their own group but they get so mean about them for no reason...
I think Sagittarius are some of the most open when it comes to quirks, along with Aquarius. They still make fun of those people easily but it's rarely mean-spirited or judgemental.

At least if you're going to be a dick, back it up with facts

I had a Pisces male friend with Cap Mercury. Multiple times he talkd bad about a Cap girl that she married an old man because of his money. Each time I told him there are always more than one reason why people marry. And this is her private life. It's none of your business. I think he has been dating her and was hurt by her choice.

At a moment of time I was tired of him. Because he did not respect my view that we should not talk bad about other people's life choices. Then I cut off the contact with him. Which I don't regret.

Then he married a girl. A gf of mine needed to tell me the story of how she ran into them and they both only talked about the money she brings from back home.

Why do I have to hear all these stories about money loving people? Do I have low life friedns? Or is money really such a big deal? I thought money is just needed to pay the bills. Am I sugarcoating again?

Yes I am. I don't know if this is a typical sagittarius traits, but I'm very protective of the weak.
I have a soft spot for the elderly, I will always help them in some way.
I can not see them in trouble and just go away carelessly.
I think this is because I have always loved my mother and my father, I see their faces in every older person I meet.

yeah same here. i like hanging with IT guys. theyre super weird but i learn so much.

it sho nuff is. Also i think that people who diss other people are in some way unhappy with themselves.

Maybe its my Sag moon but I freakin hate bullies. I'd break my own foot putting it up a bullies ass.

Yes, especially when I was younger. However, now I've learned that sometimes there's a reason why someone has crap talked about them. Rooting for the underdog is good...but do your own research and make up your own mind. I learned my lesson the hard way!

Just a few days ago I was making my way home from work on the bus when I witnessed a woman picking on a schoolboy who had some learning needs. He came to the top deck and starting ringing the bell continously and making noises. The woman told him to 'fucking shut up' and 'my 5 year old behaves better than you.' She ended up grabbing the boy by his neck, throwing his schoolbag and books down the stairs (hitting another passanger who was coming up) and then throwing the boy down the stairs while saying 'take your bullshit elsewhere.'

I was absolutely disgusted and ended up reporting the woman to the police and the transport officials.

I'm always fighting for the underdog and I have loads of similar stories. The only place where I may drop back is in the workplace because it's my bread and butter and I literally can't afford to lose my job over protecting someone else. I will advice, listen and support them though but I no longer go all the way in to help. I've been there and It just breeds loads of issues and problems for me in the end.

I have a history of being befriended with underdogs. Specially with additional effect from my Pisces Moon. But one day I opened the eyes and saw I'm lacking influential friends. It was a little sad there. But maybe this is my fate. With Cancer in the 8th house where NN is laying. Maybe Jupiter is my influential/prestigious friend and I am there to feed the underdog. Idunno.

I've always been the underdog it seems so I find others like me very personable. What others see as less, I find more.
