Run away from feelings?

Do Sagittarius run away from their feelings or is it just the ones I've met? (Including me)

my boyfriend is a sagg too he doesn't run away but he has a lot of excuses for everything maybe because of his moon in cancer or is it just a sagittarius thing

I have so many excuses in my mind I cannot even decide which one to take.

I have a Sag Mars and occasionally I do that. It depends. Despite all of my Scorpio energy, when I start feeling something for someone I'm kind of like "shit". then I kind of avoid them but can't help not avoiding them. it's kind of like a push and pull. if they start double texting me +, then I ignore them and get irritated very quickly. if they start ignoring me I'm kind of like "wait but I did like you". then when they start moving in again I'm like "but do I really want this? shit idk"

and the cycle continues

I agree with the excuses thing too. I have 4 planets in scorp and I swear the air and fire energy in my chart still has a tendency to neutralize my scorp energy! no idea how
