I am an Aries Mom, and I have trouble understanding and communication with my saggie daughter. We butt heads all the time, just because we are both super competitive, and she has this super sensitive side that I can't quite grasp.

What activities are suitable for an 8 year old? She is supper competitive, and her only intention of playing is to win which she achieves in many aspects in her life, but when things don't go that way she is super hard on herself. We tried soccer last year. I thought it was a bust, but she talks about doing it again.

She is super crafty and creative. She made the 'memory scanner' from paper ( don't ask me how) with spinning pinwheel for fan and a functioning button. She was only 5 at the time. Wow!

What I have the most trouble with is handling her emotions. Help?!?! they mostly arise because of her competitive nature.

OH, btw, her little sister is a scorpio (6 years old) and is all fine and snazzy with everything. My saggie daughter gets supper annoyed with her little sister's quirkiness and snaps at her all the time. What do I do?

I find my Sagittarian daughter to be hard on herself as well when she does not perform as good as she expected. Mine will be 17 years old in December, but I noticed at an early age she had an artistic bent, very intelligent and creative and needed to expell that energy....I would definitely supply her with an outlet for her creativity such as art supplies, books (mine is an avid reader like myself and I'm Saggie too) computer games that involve a thought process...My girl is always drawing, sketching, reading, playing puzzle games etc...it seems to keep her mind at ease...
But for myself being a Sag, it was easier for me to understand where she was coming from...I was the same way as a child.

The nodes of the moon tell a story...

I am going to guess provided she does not have an intercepted chart, that with Pisces on the first house (Ascendant) that she has Sagittarius on the 10th house (career, public, etc). You mentioned her Sun & Moon in Sagittarius and from her competitiveness I am going to guess they fall into her 10th house. Although, they could be in her 9th or 11th depending on what degree Sagittarius begins her 10th house. In addition, if she has a North Node in Gemini, then she would have a South Node in Sagittarius, as the nodes of the moon are always in exact polar opposition, which then would be her South Node also in her 10th house (again, I am guessing.)

Do you by chance know if her Sun / Moon in Sagittarius are conjunct her South Node? Conjunct means that they would all be within close degrees of each other. If they are this would describe why she is so competitive. Sun / Moon / South Node in 10th house (career, public eye) she is extremely driven, with it being in Sagittarius, she will want the freedom to perfect whatever it is she is doing, AND -- she will always believe that her way is the ONLY & RIGHT way. However, in time as she grows and matures, part of her life lessons will be to come to understand that there are many paths to the finish line, and that it is not her job to convince and convert others to get there taking her path, but instead to let them explore and find their own way as she insists on doing in her own life.

She probably has a great amount of conflict within herself as the Pisces soul (her rising sign) is very creative, artistic and does not see or care about perfection nor desire it, but instead just wants to create and feel peace. This is quite the opposite of her Sun / Moon / South Node is Sagittarius, always wanting to compete, win and be recognized.

This is only a shot in the dark as I cant see her chart and am just guessing by doing the math. Hope this makes sense. :-)
