Should I feel upset about this? :/

Idk, I'm pretty good at getting over when people let me down, but I'm wondering if I'm just being too sensitive about this.

My scorpio and I have break starting tomorrow so we wont be able to see each other for a week and decided we'd go to the library together tonight and study for midterms before we spent some last minute time to kiss and whatnot. I took a little longer than I thought I was going to with the study session I was in today and he calls me a few mins before I said I was going to get out. Basically the voicemail said he wanted to hang out with me, but his friends were pressuring him to hang all week and he hadn't had a chance to hang out with them so he was still going to the library with me, but then we'd cut it short and he'd hang with friends. Well my study session kept going and he called me a second time. Still couldn't answer so he said to call him. I told him I was sorry and that I'd get my stuff together real fast, but instead he asked if I really needed to go to the library, which I replied, "I guess not", to which he said he didn't want to blow me off, but he didn't really need to go to the library and his friends were really pressuring him to hang so he was just going to hang with them, but he still wanted to see me tomorrow for lunch before he left.

Pretty sure I just got stung...ow. I was like "cool, I need to study anyway" and told him maybe I'd be able to have lunch. He was like "well what else are you going to do, sleep?" ..."no I have to study for this test" -.-

So I get off the phone and I'm surprised he didn't catch it or maybe he's just avoiding it, but I was kinda upset. I hid it well, but I think anyone could hear that something wasn't right...

Is it wrong I feel bad about this? He blew me off for his friends...hmm...

I wouldn't be that worried. Let him hang with his friends, he will come to you . Everybody needs to have some space and it's nice to miss the ohter person, too. It works better if you also go out with your friends, too, and don't make any type of scene, just let him be. We water sign people need plenty of time off our partners. That makes us go back to you recharged adn happier. Don't give it a thought, he loves you but also loves to hang out with pals. No worries.

Usually I would agree with you if it hadn't been in the context of him blowing me off in the first place. The fact is he had planned to hang with me from the beginning of the week. I don't mind that he hangs with friends. I love that he's social because quite honestly we sagis need our space and scorpios can become too clingy if they don't regulate themselves. But saying you're going to hang with someone then blowing them off for last minute plans with guys is not cool and I let him know. Yes I was calm about it and I said I'd be fine. He wanted to make it up to me though. He knows what he did was wrong

i never thought of finding my MRS while in college,i was having too much fun drinkin, skipping class, and doing shrooms. good times.

a few of my friends did find their mates in college but they didnt get married till 5 years later.

To each their own. I come from a smaller town and go to a christian college so you put those two together and you got a lot of people getting married around my age. It'll happen when I'm ready. I'm almost outta college so if something does happen it most likely be after.

I dunno on the kids thing, a lot of responsibility involved plus they become priority over everything else, hence the '40 is the new 30' hahah.
I like my freedom too much.

Although at 21, you shouldn't be thinking about kids that much.

Haha oh I have a tendency to think ahead. Marriage comes first of course. But I think the fact that a lot of people around me are getting married has kinda forced me to look at the age in which a women will most likely need to stop having kids (35) because of problems with kids coming out wrong (mentally retarded) or not being able to have kids. I read an article that said it's hard to get women pregnant more and more each year.

Do I have a set age I hope to get married? yes...
Am I gonna get married at the age I want? Probably not. I'll take life in strides as it comes to me, but it's never hurt me to be prepared in a large scale sense.

I see your point on what you say about all your peers settling down but again that's no reason to take heed of such a thing.
Ask around a lot of the older women/men who had kids young. Even though they'll jump up straight away and say something like 'best thing that's happened to me', pay attention to the 'but....' or how they're restricted, if that helps. 🙂

Yes, but these are people who had kids from ages 16-23 I think anytime after 25 is good because thats the age when you have matured fully to an adult. It's a good age range for have children (25-34 yrs). It's my ideal age range so that's what I'm shootin for 🙂 If I had a kid now I'd be all kinds of stressed. I wanna have fun in my marriage too for a bit as well...wanna be able to have sex whenever without having to worry about another person x.x

A good age range is 25-30 years old.

Keep in mind we live in different areas. Smaller towns tend to have people marrying sooner. I live in the bible belt and the town I live in people get married at the age of 18-20 something. I think that is far too young so I've decided on a good middle ground.


Biologically speaking 25 years is when most people mature fully in their bodies and mind. Though people have been known to mature slower and faster. Biologically speaking women also begin to lose their ability to have kids around the age of 35...or it'll get harder at least. I'd rather not wait till then because if I do...well, I ain't gettin any younger lol. Also the fact that more and more men are start to have lower and lower sperm count and it's harder to get some women pregnant these days. Just some of the research I've read and it scares me. Sorry, but that's the way I live...you guys do it your way and I'll do it mine. I'm the cautious type 😆
