Windows 10.

alt topic: i used to have a windows 8 laptop.
so I'm laying there taking a nap.
i kinda daze back into reality, and take a look at my laptop screen and see "Upgrading Windows"
and i'm not that concerned. because i'm trying to nap.
i say "fuck it" and roll over.
i wake up to fucking windows 10.
i'm like "ok.... what the fuck just happened here...."
i play around with it for a second.... all my shit is intact.... cool

but now... i'm trying to connect my fucking computer to my TV to use as a DVD player (like I have been, for fucking years) and now this fucking thing won't connect.

and now i'm fucking grumpy

quite frankly, i'd like to take a giant steamy shit on the hood of bill gate's car right now.

Windows 10 is horrible.

Okie. I don't like the way you talk but I'm gonna give my advice anyway. You can rollback to Win 8 (I would suggest 8.1 over 8). Windows 10 won't work properly UNLESS you have ALL the updates installed on your system prior to upgrading on your current OS. Plus, Win 10 will make you more dependent on how Microsoft operates, which I don't like at all. Win 8.1 is a great OS to work with.

i'm a foul-mouthed-mother-fuger. i'm sorry. i don't want to say "it happens" and just blow my stack because i don't give a crap. sometimes it's necessary, and sometimes it's excessive... i guess? so i apologize if i offend... it's not intentional.

oh yeah, it started working again. i'm not sure what's happening, but everytime i reset the signal converter, it automatically zooms, which it never did before. but it does it consistently now.

it was 8.1 i think.
i have a box that converts vga/hdmi to rca/s-video/YCbCr/etc so i can plug it into my tv. there's a "zoom" mode that zooms the entire display. it keeps zooming, automatically, but all i need to do to fix it, is hit the "zoom" button on the remote for the box everytime i turn it on.
i'm gonna go play some tiger woods golf.

and i didn't exactly decide to upgrade.
