Okay, we Scorps are good at this ....transformation, regeneration, etc....so wanted to throw this out...

Dr Candace Pert says that our emotions actually create our bodies because the emotions are really chemicals that bond to every cell in our body.

Positive emotions create positive cells....do you tend towards negative or positive?

If your body/mind is used to the negative, you will create this in your relationships, becoz your body/mind unconsciously wants a "fix" of negative emotions...

What I'm doing: when someone or something evokes negative in me, I move away from it....because I don't want to be an addict...I want happiness...

Benefits of Serotonin:

"When the same chemical events repeat themselves over and over again, the result is a cumulative emotional history. This history comes with identifiable patterns and predictable responses, which become embedded or "hardwired" in our brains."

Pert explains that if we feel the same type of emotions over and over again, the cells in our bodies grow receptors that are used to that type of emotion...they then subdivide, and we have a bunch of cells in our bodies that crave the same neuropeptide messages...thus we become addicted to our own emotions.

Perhaps I don't explain it that well...I am not a scientist, just trying to delve a little deeper.

Brains are malleable-no shit?

GA-I didn't really read the whole thing, but it doesn't seem to even mention said positive/negative cells, etc.

"Besides why mention all this while criticing her book? Since when was what a person did outside of the research work that is being criticed part of the analysis of a work?"
