My mom is a Gemini and my stepdad is a Scorpio and they have a great relationship...I am not the typical Gemini woman - I'm not openly flirtatious (unless I'm single and know the other guy is already interested) and I'm not fickle in relationships. He is really shy and seems very unsure. He also can kind of disappear for awhile and reappear. I've learned not to take it personally...he has a lot going on and is wonderful when we are together...I've realized that it takes him a loooooonnnnnnnggggg time in relationships lol. At first I thought that maybe he's just not that into me, but he is - just more reserved about it than I am.

Thank you so much! I am so glad I found this site because I really am getting a better understanding of myself. I do get that about him and it's driving me crazy. I completely am willing to go slowly...but I would like more communication. All I can get from him is that he really likes me, he's into me...but communication has always been hard for him - especially since he's out of town...plus his job situation really has him upset.
Yes, I do take the direct route. I've been divorced almost 2 years now...was with my ex since I was 21 (now I'm 35)...so just in the last year I've been feeling out this dating thing...To me, its really simple - I like you, you like me; let's talk, get to know each other...see where this goes. I hate games, dating rules, all that mess! Thing is, I am SMITTEN with this man - he totally takes my breath away when I'm with him...except for the long periods of no communication. It's wierd!
