confusing and mysterious scorpio

i knew a scorpio guy who came to my university. He was in his last year of uni and i was in my second. We would see eachother during library sessions and there was definate chemistry between us but i didnt want to say anything just incase i was wrong, i didnt want to make a fool of myself. Later that year he graduated and he found a job in another city. I was very upset about this and he could tell but he said that we could meet up and email eachother and talk on msn if we needed to, and we did. He would come on msn every night and we would but our webcams on. It was then that he told me that he had feelings for me. He said that he liked me from the first day he saw me and he said that at first it was only physical attraction but then it was more after he knew me. I was over the moon. We started flirting more and things were getting heavy to which i liked, he also said how much he wanted to have sex with me and boy did i want sex with him.

After a few months communicating via msn i noticed that he was getting more and more distant and i was getting worried.I also went to check if he had been on facebook recently and didnt, i didnt here from him for a month, not even a phone call. Then the next day he delted me off his msn, facebook everything. I messaged him to ask why he never replied. Then a few months later he added me again but we started chatting like nothing happened. Few weeks later he deleted me again, i was thinking what is this guy playing at— then a month later he added me again and i was getting fed up, everytime i would ask him why he would never reply.

I talked to his friend for a while and then he told me that his friend scorpio was getting engaged. i was devasted to hear about this. He said that he is getting an arranged marriage. The b****** never even told me himself i had to learn this from his best friend. I was waiting i thought hmm maybe one day soon he will tell me himself and he never did. On the day before his engagement he added me again. I just told him to stop adding me because i knew he would delete me anyway and i congratulated him on his engagment.

He read that mail and shouted at his best friend for telling me, and i just dont understand why keep it a secret from me, and why did he even bother adding me back when he was getting engaged? why did he keep coming back to me? it is a real scorpio thing?

i'm afraid it is a scorpio thing. perhaps more specifically a man thing actually. it's called wanting to have your cake and eat it too.
