What type of anxiety? I find you need a different type of responses to manage it effectively (if at all).
Mostly when it comes to overanalyzing every single thing. Sometimes i can get stuck in my own thoughts or won't stop thinking about a certain thing. It kills my productivity and i shut myself from the world. I'ts a bit dificult to explain it... I thought i'd ask about this here because scorpios are known to be really private persons and often think too much about little details. To me it just gets to a point that it becomes truly hard to deal with

Well I didn't know Scorps were known for that, and I'm not quite sure how being private equates a better understanding of anxiety, but no matter. Yes, Scorps can be private but that may be more out of control or the belief that others will not truly understand us. It's unique to the Scorp.

It sounds like you are over critical of yourself or become attached to a particular outcome? I haven't seen anxiety explained as you have presented it here, so please correct me if I'm misunderstanding.

If it is one of those two things I suppose what you can try to learn to do is to let go of a particular outcome, especially if it's something you've never done before. All you can control is how much effort you put forward and (not to sound like an after school special) if you've done you're best then feel some satisfaction in that. If it hasn't produced the results you want, don't get stuck on he mistakes or errors you made. Beating yourself up over the past won't move you forward. Simple look over where you could have made a different choice and do so if you get another opportunity.

To speak of my issues with anxiety, I had to take some time to figure out the source of it. It took some digging and I still have to actively check it, but my anxiety has more to do with the messages I recieved as a child and unintentionally still carry around with me. You may find it helpful to look at what messages you tell yourself when you notice you're dwelling in things. Look for a pattern in the messages you're saying to yourself and see where that may be coming from.

I'm a scorpio too and idk, i thought maybe this would be the type of thing take would be more common with other scorpios and therefore someone how as been thru the same would have a better understanding of it maybe ahah x)

I'm sorry, I'm usually not that clear when it comes to explaining these types of things because i don't even know how i feel or what provoques it. It's still a bit confusing and i'm trying really hard to understand it, Sometimes it seems like it just comes from nowhere. But yeah... Maybe you're right, i should be less hard on myself and be less afraid of making mistakes 🙂 cause yes, that's also another source of my anxiety.

And thank you, i will try to follow your advice 🙂

Yes! I'm also starting to realize stuff like that and it's amazing how everything in our lives is so much connected in ways we don't even understand! And when you finally do find those messages it's as if everything you worry about finally makes sense 🙂

I get like that and hate it - it's overwhelming

I go for very long walks and that works for me - something about the pattern of the rhythm and breathing ... it's hard though when I can't get out for a few days - like in the winter
I tried doing that a while ago and it worked! I should start doing it again!!

But yeah, and then trying to find a way to make yourself stop thinking only makes it worse.

Breathing exercises are very good - it is a fact that when you are concentrating on your breathing you can think of nothing else - nothing. This is the key to open the door to meditation while concentrating on your breathing. I got a cd from Dr. Weil but there are many others too. It is amazing and you could try that also.

I think this kind of anxiety is birthed by fear.

In that case it is important to separate from the feeling of being anxious to understanding what exactly is causing your anxiety.

I find it hard to disconnect from emotion too, but in this case rationality is your friend and holds the key to your freedom.

I know what you mean about the need for reclusion too. And that's all fine, but at this point it is vital to reflect and focus on possible solutions rather than becoming lost in the haze of emotional distress.

Grab all your favorite things and start thinking.

Positively! 🙂
