Hi fellow scorps,

I'd like to discuss something with ya'll.

I've been noticing myself and my fellow scorp friends irl. We seem to have this underlying current of expecting the worst in situations. The output that we serve to our sorroundings may be different to each rising sings we have but still the core seems to be through this, realistic or even pessimism.

Do you resonate with the idea or is it just me? Lol

Anyways, so I'm thinking, actually worrying. That perhaps there's a chance that this expectations of the worst can be from our defense mechanism, and the affects to that we may not realize that it will send subconscious vibrations to the universe that will eventually manifest in our realities.

Of course, we all have seen those motivational videos of 'the power of positive thinking' and 'the law of attraction' and how they elicit the importance of sending good vibes.

* Now how do you overcome this tendency, if you find so?

* How do you think the mechanism to that serves the actual situation or resulted in manifestation?

* Do you agree with my opinion and what do you think you can tackle it?

* Have actually re-directed that vibration and found it worked out very well?

I mean. I have sag merc and rising (if I can take astro into topic), I can help myself in reaching optimism but still even so I still find it not as its purest form. So that's why perhaps things may come out a bit off.

Scorpio Sun, mercury, venus, Uranus, Midheaven ,11th house I don't really know a lot about my houses still learning. But I tend to have a very negative outlook on things. I live a very blessed life but nothing is ever good enough. Like most things I ask for I receive and then I get bored and its not enough anymore. I expect the worse and I say things like awww man I always get the short end of the stick or nothing ever goes the way I want it or things like that. I hate it!!!

We're house hunting and I'm a Sag moon. I find that I can be very optimistic in the face of challenges. We find the house WE love. The inspection was not pretty. Foundation issues and Mold. All repairable I think-- and Negotiable in the sellers price. Anyways my hubby was not down for that and closed the book on that deal. I was very positive and optimistic about a negative situation that could have worked in our favor if we fixed the issues the ROI for this home would have been amazing. the house we're getting now-- We're paying too much... we'd be lucky to get what we paid for it when we go to sell it in 7-10 years. Anything we do extra to the home is money down the toilet and since I want to finish the basement and update the kitchen and bathrooms it's a big waste but I have to have these things to feel comfortable in this house. Anyways since then I've been very negative about this process. My realtor is even looking at me like a spoiled brat.

So every morning when I wake up I feel like Eeyore (the donkey on Winnie the pooh) well it doesn't matter nothing good ever happens to me anyway why would I expect today to be different...

And then it spills into everything else negative so I stop. smoke a little bud. And wala my perspective changes. I stop the negative thoughts and start peaking positive affirmations and speaking about positive things that have happened to me and the positive health and strength of my family, good jobs, strong family, good friends blah blah blah and then it calms down. Until tomorrow...

It doesn't "happen" all the time. That's your perception (which ties into you expecting the worst)

I'm sorry the house you've been eyeing on has some glitch to it. I hope you'll feel better now with the other house despite it's still require fixing here and there. Isn't it rather uncomfy to find out that the 2nd house still need money down on make up some parts. It seems to not worth it compared to the downside of the 1st house you love. I can feel you.

Is it more like supply and demand nature. When we dont get it then we want it even more.

I can be very optimistic usually but sometimes there is still this nagging need to look from the bottom view perspective as it makes me feel more grounded and not be too excited it will mess things up.

The triggers can be hard to handle isn't it? Especially when we thought we have processed things that dont come our way. And you're right, that's when we start to object our mind and put a stop to negativities.

Personally I think the Law of Attraction is bogus. I mean if everyone mirrored each other there would not be such a thing as true unrequited love.

I think when it comes to emotional expression we mirror out of empathy. Like if someone is angry it makes us feel angry. Especially if they project that anger towards us. Same for sadness. Etc.
Mm so the manifestation may then came out of the empathy received from our vibrations. That's may be the case.

What I was talking about was more to opinions and beliefs. Like when we think something is negative then we will drive leaning toward and eventually see the negatives in the reality. Just like a roll of film. If it's black and white, when the camera takes a picture of any objects despite they being colorful, the print will come out black and white. Don't you think?

As far as the main topic goes. I experience this with my Scorp Mars. I assume the worst when it comes to the other person's sexuality(lack of sexual restraint).

And risingwise I know I have a constant worry that I will walk right into an extreme situation.
With your mars, do you find it works out the way your expectations are?

Rising sign, and pluto and true node rx there. Hm. Well. Be mindful of your self-sabotage. It may impact your sense of self karmically. Just a word of precaution from a friend. If you don't mind me saying.

Scorpio Moon/Rising

It's funny that you brought that topic, DepthAndDeath, as I was talking about it yesterday with my friend.

He told me that I'm always tensed (what I know, but I can't help it). Besides it turned out that he thinks I'm always panicking and then I behave like a rooster (attacking - jumping and ruffling feathers) to actually distract people from myself. So when I'm panicking I talk waaay to much and throw my hands everywhere and have weird facial expressions. And people who don't know me may think about me as aggresive. Because I'm scared of what people may want to know about me. It was a surprise to me, as I thought I'm always being calm and composed around people. 😢 Turns out it'd be the best for me if I just was sitting still and didn't talk at all.. -.-

I definitely have to work on this, as I feel I'm turning into scared-to-talk-to-people myself. Not sure how, but for now I'll control myself more when interacting with people - not to show that frantic-self nor to come off as aggresive.

Doing sports was doing me good and I have to return to that, as I felt better about myself.

"So when I'm panicking I talk waaay to much and throw my hands everywhere and have weird facial expressions.." This can be cute!

Ehehehe, sometimes silence can be the best policy. Only sometimes tho. Coz when you're too silent then it won't serve you anything but negative (a.k.a too mysterious and then perceived as suspicious lol)

Yeah so to keep things on proper level is the best. Hard, but we must.

Sports can help a lot definitely!

With that "being silent" it is better in college as I open up to some people and talk to them, but in high school and before that I was pretty silent though no one in my circle perceived me as suspicious - I was just shy and helpful girl. Right after the graduation I became more talkative, but I kinda went to another extreme and was just blunt and honest (with some acquaintances) - now I have to balance that two things. Though, still, when I don't know someone that well, I'm rather quiet and polite, keeping it classy. It's hard but I want to master it 🙂

Yeah to know when to speak and when not to, is gold! I sometimes still fail miserably but the fire inside me tend to go like "who cares!" And my water would respond like "I do, goddamnit. Now shut up" lol
