Actually, this is a good thread.

And the song is perfect.


It appears as though Elle can't get over her feelings for Fire, and so completely overlooks the point of the thread.


If people try and try and try to make it work, and the relationship was never meant to be, then the extending of olive branches are plastic, in that they aren't feeling meant, they are ego meant, due to the person's ego not being able to get past rejection, or dejection, or just the misery in whatever form the feelings take.

And the song represents that ... and I think it's very valid point, considering that most people who come in here aren't sincere in thier quests to get the man, they don't want him for the man he is, they aren't trying to have a relationship with the person inside .... they're superfical, thier olive branches are plastic.



However, there are some people like Elle represents here, and many others .... who can't get past themselves if they have a feeling toward a person, and so every point that person makes the person, like Elle here, will taunt, even if the point is a good one.

I don't find you annoying as much as I find you to be a hypocrite ..... I understand you trying to understand him, but, this wasn't trying to understand him .. this was you trying to fuck with him.

Now, perhaps he was trying to fuck with dmv ... she can handle herself. Are you suggesting that she can't handle herself with you running in to rescue her?

If the relationship is finished, and you extend an olive branch just to satisfy your ego, who can't handle rejection or misery, then that means it's not sincere for the love, it's because you can't handle your own feelings ... so the branch is indeed plastic.
