Gemini Woman/Scorpio Man: First Date looming

Hey All

OK here comes the typical Gemini post!!

Met a great guy on Friday night just gone - had an immediate connection and like a magnetism between us - I gave him my number and he gave me a peck on the lips and said he'd call. Got home that night and he text me later to say it was nice to meet me and hopes to see me again soon and I responded in kind. Saturday evening I get a text asking how my day had been and we had a nice text exchange picking up on some of the discussion from the night before. On one of the topics I'd said on Sunday that I thought that would deserve a long chat over perhaps drinks and/or dinner and perhaps soon. He responded about an hour later saying that it would indeed need many drinks and that let's see how mid week is looking over the coming days - perhaps Weds or Thurs - would that suit you? And I responded that Weds would be better for me if that looked like it would work for him and that I hoped he was having a nice day.

We've had no exchange since (yes, I know it's only Tuesday!) but now I'm kind of hanging here thinking ok are we going out tomorrow night or not? I feel as I'd been the one initially suggesting drinks/dinner that I've initiated the meeting up - so I don't want to be pushy by contacting him and seeing what the score is.

So my question out there for Scorpio men is ..... do I just leave it for him to contact me and, if he doesn't, then somewhere along the line we lost the "connection" and he's just decided he's not interested after all? Do I initiate any type of text/phone conversation or just leave it?
