PP...have a look at it, i have seen way worse things from the chinese, this one actually dont have such shocking images (from what i have seen coming from the motherfuckers)...

man, i just hate the whola china nation right now, was going to get a laptop from them and after reading that it just reminded me of all the shit i have seen and just gave up!!!

i understand ppl being mean, i even understand ppl not liking animals...its their choice...but misstreating them and making them suffer just for the fuckin sake of it....it just makes me sick!

i just can't believe how some ppl don't respect life at all. it's what animals are fighting for...and humans just come and take that away, without even needing to, as if it's their right. i mean, there really is no way to justify this disgusting behavior. i don't care how they were raised and if they hate themselves, maybe they deserve to for being so ugly inside. i would never seriously suggest that any of those people were eaten alive because i understand that you can't stop brutality with brutality - but i do think that if they woke up and found themselves in a pit of hungry lions, they would just be getting what they deserved.

yeah but the difference between animals and people is that we have the ability to weigh the ethical/moral implications of our actions. other animals don't have that capacity. they only understand what they may be punished for, but they don't understand why...much like a child before they begin to develop a conscience. it is our capacity to understand why something is wrong (for example, the golden rule, or that pain causes agony) that sets us apart from other animals. making the choice to ignore that knowledge for 5 minutes of sick, sadistic pleasure is more barbaric than anything.

i understand what you're saying though, it isn't fair to judge based on my own values. not everyone agrees with them. BUT...at the same time, i was raised by someone who hunts for sport, and that is one of the reasons i hate it so much. i hate that mindset. in my mind, the spectators aren't absolved of guilt simply because they were raised in a different environment. it's still sick to me. guess that's my stubbornness coming through...but you know what they say, if you don't stand for something you'll fall for anything 😛

do you really believe that, dogsbody?

Yes - I do.
I live in a country who's longstanding culture is very slowly being eroded by Asian Culture because so many of them are coming here.
And theyre bringing theyre culture and beliefs with them.
How long before theres so many of them that they start treating animals here, the way they do in China, and nobody questions them about it?
Look at the way they treat their own "People" never mind, animals.
Death Camps for Prisoners Of Concience etc etc
Now youve got me started LOL
I will now go and sit in my Kennel and wait to be fed "Woof"

hey, don't get me wrong. i can't even watch the show 24 because the scenes that have torture in it are too upsetting. for me though, torture of either animals or humans provokes the same reaction. i just get really pissed off and i want to make it stop.

"are there no human rights? at what point do we exhibit social responsibility? or do we turn a blind eye out of respect for other "cultures"?"

that's what i was trying to say earlier.

- oh, i know. i wasn't referring to you, poo. i was just stating in general, as i've noticed this in RL. ppl who will show extreme empathy for animals, but have no reaction when it comes to human sufferings

""that's what i was trying to say earlier.""

i'm late then, sorry. you know i don't pay attention, lol. thanks in advance for understanding. 😛

and i agree w/ regard to spectators.

those who witness inhumane acts, while choosing to take no action and remain silent bystanders, ought to be considered offenders as well. think of Good Samaritan laws.

call me a hypocrite. i am carnivorous. i am guilty, but feel no remorse. self-serving in ranking what i feel are my needs over the needs of other living creatures.
