why not?

Halloween is overrated. You don't get Veterans Day off unless you're a lazy-ass government employee. And Thanksgiving is technically in Sag-Land.

And you're a year older. And every annoying person on Earth wants to wish you a happy birthday or know when your birthday is.

Sucks. 😢

depressed is an extreme word. i am kind of down.

the holidays always kind of bring me down despite the various vacation days. not sure why that is. could be my continued George W. Bush detox efforts and the morose quality of the mood in the country. economic and financial armageddon could be magnifying the normal effects this year.

well, visit a friend/loved one you haven't seen in a while. that should do the trick.

indeed, it looks like ppl aren't putting nearly as much effort in gift-getting this holiday season as in previous yrs.

could also be fewer hours of daylight too. how could those eskimos and scandinavians make it through life without liquor?

or just winter. or the end of the new year. whatever, it's all cumulatively depressing.

yea, the holiday season gets alot of folks down.

i'm expecting many of my clients to feel sad around this time, as they usually do. for them, it reminds them of their lack of family.
