oh well. i don't mind spewing my guts. this was a long time ago.

at the time, i worked for europe's largest trade union. i had a senior job and was always 'favoured' by the union's number 2 who was very powerful in the political arena. he was an aqua. fucking ugly one too. looked like one of those plasticine chickens in that kids' film 'chicken run'?. yeah, i know...lol. plus he was a closet naturist but i digress.

when i say he 'favoured' me, he was an asshole to everyone else but treated me differently cos he wanted to get his end away basically. married man. wouldn't have touched him with a barge pole but it served my purposes to have him wrapped around my little finger.

anyhow. i worked there for a few years and when i went back after the birth of my son, he kind of upped the anti when i was less inclined to even engage in manipulation and so he was being more full on and i was more forthright about rejecting him.

this resulted in me getting sacked. he engineered my dismissal. my own representing union took on the union i'd worked for in an unfair dismissal claim but it was hopeless. they were so huge, my union's legal team were no match.

for the tribunal, i had to complete a 'confidential' form outlining what had gone on. having worked in the political arena for long enough, i knew there was no such thing as confidential.

so i made up a whole lot of shit about him. it was pages long more or less cataloging some kind of sexually motivated persecution. the document accidentally on purpose got into the wrong hands and before long his reputation was in shreds and his marriage in ruins. he took early retirement.

then i took the ultimate revenge on the whole trade union by going to work for news international as a journalist where i one by one exposed some extremely questionable practices of the union in question.

to be honest, i can't imagine ever getting to the point that i'd do something like that again. it was a hollow victory and completely pointless.

no it was definitely revenge. his only real offence was that he liked me in an inappropriate way for the workplace. he did vindictively have me fired but seriously. i destroyed him very publicly with absolute lies. i even threw my own reputation under the bus just to make him suffer.

going through the tribunal process and being truthful would have been the best way forward at that time but when my representative union told me to forget any thoughts of winning cos of the power the aqua held and the union's access to the best legal team in britain, rather than walk away as i should have, i deliberately and maliciously discredited him not only in the political arena but in his marriage too.

he may have been a bad man but it wasn't for me to do what i did....i had absolutely no right. i have a real aversion to vigilante tactics in any walk of life and for that reason have always been an active member of amnesty international. it led to me feeling worse about what i'd done because of the hypocrisy of it. legal structures are there for a reason and it's to stop people from taking the law into their own hands which is often what an act of revenge is.

the best act of revenge of all time (imo) is to rise above it and walk away.

R24: well, it was all kinda made worse by the fact that the day before i got fired, i found out i was pregnant with my second child so i was full throttle with the hormones at that time. also, my ex husband wasn't working and so i had a mortgage to pay and also a nanny for my son. it was a total fucking mess.

you're right though. it was his karma. trade unions are pretty dark organisations imo and very cash rich. what went on behind the scenes was not aligned to the morality of their public face at all.

i managed their pension fund and one of the beneficiaries, receiving ??10,000 a MONTH was a 'knitting circle' in LEBANON!!!—!!!! now, i'm a jew and that didn't sit well. who fucking knits sweaters in the middle east, lol. that's a whole lot of wool you can get for 10 grand!!

i guess the funniest thing about my revenge was that i 'exposed' him as a naturist, lol.....oooh look, there's a pun!! there were actually pictures published of him in the national press shielding his privates when caught at a well known naturist retreat in the uk called 'eureka!!'....LOL!!! the image is still very clear in my mind. his nickname in the union was 'teflon' cos nothing ever stuck to him..........until i came along!! MUAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHHA!! :p

but of course i feel nothing but shaaame *hangs head*

I was teasing with my last post. "Revenge", if this person is even going to do that (we are assuming here) depends on what he or she thinks will hurt the most. I have found that simply giving someone the cold shoulder and just acting as you never existed has hurt the most depending on the person and requires no energy at all. The thing about it, is once I have decided you don't "exists", you really don't. It's not a ploy to get under your skin, play mind games, I truly don't think about you anymore until anymore something/someone triggers the thought of you.

Has your scorp wife ever looked at you all crazy when you start getting all mushy and gooey? I bet she has. She was probably thinking shuddup and treetrunk me already. If we are in the mood for the bleeding heart stuff we will sting the shit out you 🙂

There are far more sides to any Cancer than just mushy-crybaby. You wanna get treetrunked then call me Paul Bunyan. 😉

ZenBear, is the scorp you're gonna piss off a woman? And if so, did you tell her a bunch of that cancerian, romantic butter to play 'Paul Bunyan' to ride on her 'Babe?'

Cuz if thats the case, I'll be praying for ya

Nope. She broke my heart but wants me to stick around as her friend/bodyguard. I'm going to break it off. So ya, she'll probably be pissed and so will her new BF and so I might get my tires slashed or some-such.
