My former inlaws were that combo, they stayed married for years for the kids, but had a lot of problems. Perhaps it works better if the male is the scorp, I've noticed that combo a lot lately. I'm a scorp, and Libra just wouldn't cut it for me personally, but if he has a pisces moon that might add quite a bit of water, that moon sign had a tremendous impact on my Leo father, who was married to Scorp moon with Gemini moon happily for 30 yrs.

Things would be alot smoother had the man been a Scorp & the woman a Libra. First off, Scorp. will love their Libra's passion & willingess to be with them & be intrigued with them. Scorp. will admire their Libra's need for security & stability within love. Scorp. will admire that their Libra understands them w/o trying to change them first. It's almost as if the Scorp. is attracted to their Libra b/c their Libra was attracted to them first. Scorp. will love their Libra's okayness with chasing after them with no boundaries or limits attached & naturally, since it's hard for Scorps to find people who are sincerely willing to do this, they naturally in return cling to the people that cling to them. While it bothers or intimidates other signs, Libra will be even more infatuated with their Scorp's level of passion in everything they do.

The problem: Libra is easily hurt & manipulated, especially by a companion. Scorp's intense passion with everything is great until the times get touch. Scorp. will easily be able to verbally tear down their Libra & constantly send their Libra into states of constant doubt about whether or not they're in the right relationship. Scorp. will have so much emotional influence over their Libra, that eventually Scorp. will take advantage of this ability & can potentially make things worse. Libra will not necessarily understand a Scorp's aggression or passion until they find themselves on the other side of the fence with their Scorp. & once that happens, Libra will suddenly withdrawl & feel as if they've been fooled. It's common that what a Libra once loved about their Scorp. will end up being the very thing they hate/turned-off about their Scorp.

With Libra wanting to go full swing into their relationships, & give their all 100% , they will not understand a Scorp's need for the same thing but yet emotional distance to an extent. Scorp's will never 100% let anyone in, & a Libra will be confused by this & mistake this for their Scorp. not loving them.

Scorpio woman is very possessive, very jealous & doesn't bite her tongue for anyone. And if a situation ever arose when a Scorpio was testing their Libra's loyalty, Libra would not understand where all the extra passion & aggression was coming from. Libra's handle tough times with sensuality & with conflicting emotions, but still try their hardest to continue pleasing their partners just in case the realization that they might be being too sensitive comes. Where as Scorpio, will immediately drop everything the moment they feel they are being betrayed (even the slightest bit) & detach with coldness & with venom, in which a gentle Libra won't be able to handle this!

The sexual chemistry between the 2 will be AMAZING though b/c of both sides trying their best to be their partner's #1 & best sexual partner. This combo is great when things are good but HORRIBLE & usually result in the Libra feeling trapped, abused (emotionally) and/or a fool once things get tough.

I recently met a Libra and I have posted similar threads about the compatibility between a Scorp. female and a Libra male. I have gotten mixed reviews. Some have said it will work well and others have said it is doomed from the start.

Based on some of the responses on this specific thread, I can say that I think that although astrology does play some part in this type of thing, there are a lot of other factors to consider. For example, I am a scorp. female. I have read posts on this thread with female scorps saying how jealous and possessive they are. I am not like that at all. I am not sure if it is b/c I am a bit older (27) than some of these posters - age and experience have lead me to be a lot more calm and relaxed and not allow myself to get so riled up and out of control. Life will do that to you; make you realize that not everything requires a Jerry Springer type of reaction. Lol. So, I guess my point is that it depends on what kind of person YOU are and what kind of person HE is. Like I said, yes, I do think that astrology does play a part, but (in my opinion) it is no where near gospel. I think with ANY relationship you should approach it with a fresh and positive point of view. If it does not work and you guys are not compatible, charge it to the game of life and dating and keep it moving. But do not limit yourself from the potential love of your life just based on him being a Libra. What may have not worked for some, might work splendidly for you! You never know...right? Nothing is set in stone and no one knows what the future holds. Just my two cents. 🙂

Good Luck and keep us posted, as I am excited and interested to hear how this combo works out!

Me: Libra Sun, Pisces Moon, Merc & Venus Scorpio
Him; Scorpio Sun, Taurus Moon, Merc & Venus Scorpio

We have a very intense marriage. I do feel he hides himself beneath his scorpion exoskeleton (sp?) b/c it's been my experience that scorpio males get very hurt early in life and shut down to the point of paranoia. My pisces heart wants to soothe and help heal him but it sometimes feels impossible even with my libran patience. We've been together 6 years and married for 4.

I've been seeing this combination for scorpios a lot lately. The truth is that scorpios are ahead of the game. So even though libras are very clever and feel that they're very deep, scorpios are always one step ahead. Scorpios will always feel somewhat compassionate for libras as all signs will feel for the one behind them. This is the laws of the karmic wheel. Then again that's also why scorpios will also detest libras because they can see librans faults better than anyone else can. Maybe it's this reason that libras may feel attracted to scorpios because finally they meet someone who can beat them at their own game. They finally feel someone understands them. More's the pity because librans are usually the ones pursuing harder for the scorps. Librans need constant mental stimulation and scorpios are plenty of that. Meanwhile it seems like scorpios need more than what Librans can offer. On that note, it's kind of a give-take sort of relationship. I see many scorpios who eventually surrender. Only time will tell if it works or not. And from the accounts of everyone else in this thread, i guess the answer is that it won't work too well.

So to all of you that were warning me about the scorpio and libra combination: you were very right. libra and scorpio are so wrong on so many levels. Thanks for the insight. unfortunately i had to come to this conclusion on my own.
would not attempt this combo again. "wouldn't admit that the sky was blue when confronted." completely. all the mind games, the deceptions, the careless use of words, the avoidance, the superficiality, on and on and on. oh the superficiality though. the inability to go further into aything, the inability to understand things truly and comepletely and the ignorance that this breeds. libras you have your commendable traits but, overall not compatible with scorps long term.

have to add them to my list of signs I am not suited for:
gemini
aries
sag
libra

Well I'm sorry it didn't work out. I understand learning the hard way thing. It's the only way I learn too. 🙂

I hope you didn't go through what I did with the Libra guy I was dating. I didn't GET why he wouldn't/couldn't fess up or even TALK about the lies I caught him in. It was so infuriating and very frustrating. Even if I had the proof waving it in front of his face he'd get the deer in the headlights look and blank out. His famous line was
"What?"
WHAT?!?! You've been caught AGAIN liar!! It was beyond retarded.

If you went through that... I feel for you. Move on and know that it gets better. At least you learned about these types.
Aries is a great partner for Scorpio IMO though. They don't BS you at all which after Libra I was SO grateful for that quality.

yeah it is the fear of confrontation i suppose, which is pretty cowardly. if i brought things up and confronted him about the way he is he either avoided discussion or tried but had no explanation or any real, concrete understanding of himself to offer. and he would always shape his responses to the best advantage of the situation when what was truly needed was raw honesty. i don't want to be too hard on him because he was a really great guy actually and i respect a lot about him, and we ended things amicably, both knowing we are not right for each other. he is just incapable of being honest with himself and understanding himself, and made it difficult for me to understand him. he was very contradictory and presented himself in so many different ways i don't even think he knows who he truly is. i suppose that's the indecisiveness and shallow nature that the libras are known for.

as far as aries, i see the compatibility, i have dated aries guys and i agree that there is a definite connection between these two signs, but it really depends on the maturity level of the partners i guess, too such powerful signs can be very destructive together. they don't bs that's true for sure.

I know a 27 year old Libra man who is EVERYTHING these forums say, good AND bad. He cheats, he evades, he uses, he LIES and will DENY the lies even when caught. He's lovable, witty, charming, funny, amazing, sexy, and can make any woman feel like the Princess, like the QUEEN. But there is no depth to it; he's far too young and immature. He's a heartbreaker, whether he MEANS to be or not. Libras are seeking love, seeking their soulmate. But at 27, they tend to not know what they really want and get in over their heads too quickly. Next thing you know, the girl is madly in love with them, and they suddenly realize she's NOT the girl he was looking for. End result: heartbreak for her, bad rap for him. Again.

But I also know a 36 year old Libra male who is ALL of the good and nearly NONE of the bad. He's grown, matured, and ready for a real adult relationship with none of the games and drama. In his 20's, he struggled with relationships and finding out exactly what it was he wanted. In his 30's, he finally came to terms with HIMSELF, met and knew and understood HIMSELF and what he wants in a relationship.

In a nutshell: There are exceptions, of course. But generally speaking - Libra males under about 30 years old are pretty much spinning a fixed Roulette wheel with your entire savings on your favorite number. You may win a couple times, but eventually, the House takes it all back and then some. But the over 30 Libra males... those are what inspire the lovely things written about them. And they ARE utterly amazing. Find a mature, evolved Libra male if you don't want to be steamrollered.

🙂
