quick question for scorp females

To all you scorpio females who read this.. what does it mean when your preferred method of communication is text messaging and not actually talking on the phone or meeting face to face?

Ok, I recently got in touch(via myspace) with a scorpio girl i've known since 5th grade. I haven't seen her in over 4 years since high school. We've been chatting online for over two weeks.. she was saying she really wanted to hang out and I told her that I was down to do so anytime. We were supposed to go out today.. but she kinda blew me off citing family affairs via text messaging. So i'm like WTF? I even asked her why she wouldn't talk to me on the phone and never got a reply.

Listen, I have the highest of respect for scorps but I don't like when people play these kind of games with me.. no matter who it is. You give your word.. keep it. If you can't, don't give your word. At least have the decency to call and explain. I don't need half-ass gestures or text messages.

I suggest you let her get in touch with you though, to explain atleast.

Thats what I don't get.. we did talk on the phone once for almost 20 minutes but every other time was txting. We were supposed to just go out for drinks.

Enough said though.. I should have seen it coming. It was pretty clear already when i'd call her and she txted back saying "sorry I missed your call" and there was always some reason or excuse. Maybe she gets pleasure from doing this?

I hate when people do that. My friend doesnt answer calls but will answer texts...thats why I dont contact her unless necessary.

She could probably be one of those text freaks.

My phone isnt made for texting, and for the longest I didnt even hae the service so I take a while too. But ive gotten better.

But sometimes, no matter how much I hate the phone, I could be off the actual device much quicker if we just talked dammit.

If she wants to keep txting, thats fine, but i'm moving on.. like notso said, life's too short.

She should've phoned and explained..If she said it would be cool to hang out that could subtly mean she's interested but she's more than likely playing hard to get type game..

If that was me, I would phone her and tell her straight what you've just said on the board..At least she'll respect you for having the balls to do so. Theres always more than what originally meets the eye..I don't know about anyone else out there but I am the worlds worst at picking up the phone..but her just texting you is a bit rude and kinda brush off way of someone I didn't really want to be there anyway.

As for playing silly ass games, cancers are great at that too..but of course it differs from individual to individual..

1. Texting is an addiction.
2. Texting is asynchrnous so U arent under any time pressure to be interesting and creative ( As Bling pointed out )
3. Texting translates to savings.

Honestly, its just the sign of the times and some people take it to a whole other level...texting is a fairly new thing to the US so thats why it maybe weird. She could just have one of those phones that make you look 'cool' when you text.

If you "talk" to her again let her know what you feel about her texting.

thats good because once you make yourself unavailable to her and if she does in fact like you, then you'll hear from her.

but its hard to say whether she likes you or not, not enough info. but i do know that when a guy seeks me out and pursues me, and i didn't see him first before he saw me, i'm always a little weary about it and kinda get turned off. i like being the predator and capturing my prey. its possible she may be the same way.

her behavior with the calls and the texting seems pretty similar to what i would do if i wasnt interested or had my eye on something else.

I don't know about all scorps but I can only speak for myself. any guy I have been involved with, I was the one that seeked him out. And I get hit on a lot and for some reason, I like it more when I'm the one hitting on a guy. I dunno, maybe it has to do with me having my guard up and always trying to figure out their motives when they try.
