Scopios why are y'all so jealous

Why is it that y'all scorpio ladies flare up on everything. Jealously is an awful thing to have in a realtionship. It destroys the realtionship. I'm with an Scorpio lady and I tell you... she watches my every more. Yes, I'm a flirt and she knews from the get go. She has left me several times in the past becasue of it, but she likes a chase and I'm not one to chase. She loves me with her heart and I love with my mind. I love shallow while she loves deep.
Sex is great but I have to have my freedom. I'm an AIR sign and air signs flee the scene when indeed trapped within. I love my lady but DAMN get a grip and stop being so possessive with everything. How do you get rid of a scoprio they never seem to go away.

simple - be honest to her and tell her its not working out. that you hate her jealousy. that you need space. she might hate it initially but she'l come to a conclusion soon. the best bit is your honesty, she would love it.

Ditto! To the initial poster. I have dealt with so many jealous Scorps in my time I can't figure it out either. I guess the only solution is to move on...Regardless of sign though, no matter who you date, if thier jealous, it'll drive you batty and you'll just resent them for it, so, it may be time to find someone who DOESN'T get envious.

I'm a Scorpio woman. Jealousy is part of the package. Men that know this and accept this are the ones that do their flirting away from Scorpio's eyes, don't get phones calls from "friends" in her presence, and constantly reassure her that she's the only one. It's tedious, but she'll make it worth your while. If it's too suffocating, leave her. She hates being so vigilant too and doesn't want to hurt you, so if you can't adjust, just leave. Believe me, she'll adapt and settle with someone who does accepts this as part of her personality.

Duuuuhh Im a scorpio guy so first of all dont put it all on Scorp gals. We are so jealous because we put everything we have into our relationships or havent you people ever heard about Scorpios depth of passion..... Wake up folks its not just about sex. given the factr that we fall hard and depp whats wrong with expecting that our counterpart would at least have the decency, integrity and respect not to flirt, ogle, or do any of that other stuff that anyone of any other sign would not accept either. Jealousy never made any relationship better. The one who has to pull the reins on the emotion is the one who feels it. You will never understand the scope of the one you love until you are willing to let them out of your cocoon so they can discover their wings. So you can either grapple with fidelity issues, or learn to fly and discover that life with someone isn't about sex--its about trusting creativity in yourself and then in someone else. Grow up....

Being jealous is giving your power away to someone else. I like the Scorpio dominance. Someone who is dominate, has control of the relationship; someone who is jealous, is out of control! Think about it!

If I am with you, it's because I spent a good part of time and energy finding just the right person to spend my life with; why would I want to lose something I worked that hard to get??

There is nothing wrong with looking at something beautiful; there is something wrong if you don't look. Just make sure if your with a Scorp he/she gets plenty of love and reassurance, they'll give it back ten fold.

I think 205, 118 couldn't have said it better. Jealousy is no good to anyone for ANY relationship. All it does is create problems and there always resentment to follow. Scorps, this is not a trait to be proud of. If you do regard it highly then you're a fool.

It's not that we regard it highly, it's that we know and accept that we have a strong tendency to feel it. Jealousy is not an action, it is a feeling, an emotion. When someone says something hurtful to you, can you stop your feelings from being hurt right away? Not unless you are a robot. Same thing with the jealousy. We automatically feel it--there's no denying or stopping that. What matters is how we then display it and deal with it. You can't ask someone to "stop" having a certain feeling, you can only ask them to control the way it affects them and the relationship. And to the question of "why" we are so jealous, who knows? That would take some serious psychological analysis. Why are air signs so chatty? Why are fire signs so dynamic? Negatives and positives can be attributed to all different signs.

Well said Heather. It occurs to me that since Scorpios are so well known for being notoriously jealous (sic) , then all the rest of you have a choice when it comes to involvement. I dont plan to sit here and defend myself or fellow scorps to anyone.......
we are what we are good , bad , indifferent. As far as the rest of you it all comes down to a matter of choice; Deal with us or dont.... its not like were seeking you out anyway, but dont take it upon yourselves to try to analyze and or correct any of our behaviors until you turn that light upon yourselves. Until now I never thought of jealousy as a negative. I want my lover to be a little jealous. It proves they love and value me . Has it occurred to anyone that the degree of jealousy expressed by a significant other is directly proportional to the love they have for you and the fear they have of losing you. Insecurity possibly but then who's to judge in a society in which 75 percent of the population admits to having cheated on a partner at one time or another and the divorce rate keeps climbing........
The preponderance of single moms speaks for itself. Even if jealousy were proven to be an absolute negative, what about deciet, betrayal and infidelity. I dont hear anyone attacking them........ whats really going on——??

A sick love I can do without. Jealousy is not love. Emotions I understand and feelings may be hurt to all you Scorps, but the fact still stands, you can't enclose someone or change them or take their friends away from them becasue of your personal issues of jealousy. Don't get me wrong y'all are great people, but being jealous over friends is taking it to far. Jealousy is *not* the demon. The demon is the way that jealousy is allowed to overtake everything else. Jealousy like all other emotions, is natural and HUMAN. We all need to recognize this. It is all about self-control. And though we (Scorpios) may sometimes need to lighten up, there is nothing wrong with being deep--in fact, may I suggest that everyone try to learn something from the differences in personality of everyone around them?

Maybe the water signs should lighten up, the air signs should be less afraid of exploring the depths, the fire signs should calm down a bit, and the earth signs should be less preoccupied with possessing things. Alrighty? LOL. : )

I'm not judging anyone... all I'm saying is that in MY previous relationship with this (Scorpio female is that I couldn't handle her jealousy and I've explained myself very clearto her as to "WHY" I broke up with her and I agree with you, we all have choices in life and I chose to leave her, but this is the tricky part that I just don't understand. AS of this day she still looks for me and still wants me back after I told her that I would not and will not toloreate jealousy. So now she is making my life a living hell.
So y'all say the truth is what y'all seek, but can you handle it as well.
I just want her out of my life so I can go on with my life with someone now in my life who is secure with themselves...and the realtionship.

Scorpios, you shouldn't be jealous if there's unconditional trust involved. I'm a Virgo girl who can get jealous, too, but I try not to jump to conclusions too quickly. Jealousy should only occur if your trust is being betrayed - especially in bed!

jealousy is not evil. it is nothing but a self defense mechanism having to loose a special person in your life especially if it is your intimate partner. the person that you give your all, and yes your love. we get jealous easily because we don't want to loose our loved ones. they signify a major part of our emotional lives.

however, i do agree also that there are scorpios that need a reality check. some are just too clingy and posessive, only because some scorpio's just haven't learned to base their relationships with TRUST.

12, 31... you are right to think that way. Your ex scorpio girfriend needs to grow up but then, maybe she never will--that's not your problem. Maybe YOU need to get mad at her when you tell her to take a hike. Sometimes we have to get angry with people to make them finally "hear us". It's PATHETIC that she has to be so friggin jealous which is quite commone--especially with female scorps--they're trouble--and I don't give two shits what anyone has to say to defend these types--I've had my share of experience with scorps and it's same old bull***t EVERY TIME!!! I'm sure your life will be much better now, now that you're with someone secure with herself.

I agree with you. She does need to grow up and trust someboby in her life. I've tried everything I could think of to make her happy. I wasn't the problem, but now I feel free and happy.
