Scorpio Man Dilemma

Hi all. I'm Niki and new here. I'm 39 (3/12/69); the scorpio male in question is 43 (11/12/65). We met early this fall. At first he was so attentive, charming, etc., saying all the right things. I appreciated his words but I never told him I was in love with him or pursued him in any way. (I'm not really into pursuing men.) Even though I welcomed spending time with him and was flattered by his compliments and declarations of love (he said he loved me after about a month of knowing me) I was being cautious and careful about getting too serious too soon. I didn't want to rush getting too emotionally involved with him after only knowing him two months. He understood that and said he would be patient. He's got a lot on his plate with his work and family; he's under his share of financial stress so I understand that he needs time and space to deal with his obligations. I don't do a lot of calling or visiting him; his schedule is less flexible than mine. But I like him and was enjoying getting to know him and he was aware of that. The last time we were with each other (2 weekends ago), it was great and I had a good time with him. We parted ways on good terms Monday morning - I went about my week and he did the same. (cont)

That following Wednesday he calls me and sounds a bit testy on the phone and I even told him that he was sounding frosty but I didn't make an issue out of it. I just tried to keep the conversation mellow and amiable. All of sudden he abruptly ended our conversation like he was annoyed about something; he basically hung up on me he was so abrupt and he'd never done that before. The next night, Thursday, we speak on the phone, his mood was even worse. Again, I tried to be at ease and friendly on the phone but it seemed like he was being intentionally antagonistic with me. He hinted that I hadn't invited him over to my house or tried to see him. My understanding was that we would get together Friday. He accused me of not caring about him or our ?relationship'; I told him I didn't want to argue, especially since I didn't know what the problem was. And he wouldn't tell me what his problem was; he was just intent on being mad! I calmly said I'm hanging up because I didn't know why I was arguing. So I hang up. He immediately calls me back yelling in my ear that I hung up on him, etc., says ?F you!?, and then hangs up on me! WTF?? That whole scene was so weird, so uncalled for and so confusing. I did nothing to this man. I was trying to be cool and open but his emotions were all over the place.

Needless to say, I haven't spoken to him since. I have no intention on calling him after the way he behaved on the phone but I wonder if he feels any remorse or regret for his emotional outburst and rants. I'm wondering if my coolness pissed him off even more which made him want to fight or is it that scorpio men have a hard time dealing with stress?? Like I said, everything was fine when we were with each other but the moment he doesn't see me for a few days (or if I'm not a basket case because I haven't seen him) he freaks out. This was not the first time he's been annoyed with me for not trying to see him but it is the first time he exploded like that. He told me after we first met that his goal was to make me want to be with him all the time, he said he wants me to crave him and adore him and fall hopelessly in love with him. I've never heard a man talk like that and mean it so I found it amusing. But it sounds like he really meant it! Well it looks like he failed at his goal because I don't feel any of those things, although I do miss him, I won't lie about that. Everything was fine until our last phone conversation. I have no experience with scorpio men. Sorry to make this so long but I wanted to give as much background as possible. Any ideas on what his deal is, or what he may do next, if anything? Yup, scorp men can be a little insecure and they crave to be wanted or desired. Although they will never admit it, but when they want space you better give it to him, but when they want you, they will go to all limits and even explode. Typical scorp man at any age. I gaurantee you he will call soon and apologize and bee all sweet and sensitive again! This is the rollercoaster ride with them.
