I’m very cautious in the initial stage and that’s why I have not been investing much to the relationship. He came so strong to me and wanted to move so fast in the beginning but I was scared and couldn’t trust him. Then he started to distance himself which made me even more cautious as I thought maybe he has been playing with me.

I can’t trust him because he doesn’t reveal much about himself yet tries to learn everything about me and expects me to trust him. He is holding his cards so close to his chest that I have started to question his intentions to approach me

I do have feelings for him but that much mystery is more than I can handle. Trust equals love for me, as he is hiding everything about him I am not able to put my trust in him which is a huge turn off. His Mars is Gemini, my Venus Leo and Mars Aries.

You have a lot of fire, does he have any? You would probably do better with an Aries or other fire dominant if his reserve turns you off already...

I'd ask what it is about his behaviour that's caught your attention?
Not a leading question, just one to take matters into your own hands (I realise that's what you said you don't want to do but worth a shot).
He directly came to me and expressed his interest and was persistent for awhile. This was just words though, I need actions as well. I do think we are not able to understand each others love language and are not compatible.

If you want to be with him just tell him. He’s probably pulling back Bc he’s mirroring your withdraw so he withdrew. So maybe put yourself out there. Sounds like a classic case of mirroring to me.

Some people operate on different levels, and that's okay, all because you find each other attractive doesnt mean its relationship material. Some people dont even know what they want, so they cant initiate anything. Those people need someone to lead them, and that's cool if that's what you want to do.
