what is scorpio rising?

Rising Sign:

I was under the impression that our rising sign is really who we are, not a shield!!!

cj7, I take it you've had a recent negative experience with a Scorpio rising lady. Sorry to hear that. About whether rising signs indicate who we really are, or who we seem to be, I've always read it's the latter and not the former.

i met two on the same night around christmas, both were a disappointment. one was a virgo, she just has been trying to communicate lately and i see it as a waste of time and energy. what u see is not what u get.

Is this the same ci7 who ask me to go easy on picses because I might hurt someones feelings? We seem to be a bit hard on the scorpio's.

ummm.....people, unless you are one of the two females i am refering to, i dont think i would take it personally. i know my statement was a general one but it stems from something specific. i like the scorpio part but i would rather it be her sun sign i guess.

now james if i had said i dont like candlegirl or jaya because they have scorpio rising that would be a different story, but since i didnt i dont think that it was too harsh.🙂

actually i enjoyed the company of both, a libra and the virgo. in typical scorpio fashion they did not like each other and had very strong opinions on why. must have been a competion thing. the libra told me some jerry springer type stories that made me rethink any relationship possibilites the virgo basically wants to just have sex and nothing else. maybe five years ago that would have been appealing but im best when i can be passionate about someone. if i
im not supposed to feel anything then i wont and thats not fun. i dunno, i must be getting old.lol

so if I was born nov 21 what does that make me and can a person change the negative aspects of their sign through sheer will power I ask because this is new to me
