scorpio: showing emotion

apparently, i am not capable of showing emotion or love. it could be my virgo rising or it could actually be that i've only known the guy a few weeks!!

is it usual to expect someone to show deep emotions after such a short period? and why would the other person conclude that you are not CAPABLE of showing emotion or love in the future on the basis that you haven't been emotionally submissive.

you can't win. you show it all too soon and they fuck you over...don't show it at all and they fuck you over. LOL

yeah, well i used the word submissive deliberately in the sense that when you first meet someone, it's kind of similar to an emotional game of wills, not necessarily consciously though and i'm not talking about playing head games although having said that, it is just how it's perceived by the other.

when someone comes over very strong emotionally within a short time, to me, they are talking bollocks from that moment onwards and so i build my resistance against it meaning that a form of submission on my part is required before i can let go enough to show my feelings - in other words, i have to believe them.

the reciprocal stuff is way down the journey imo.

hmmm....perhaps that is the problem. too much chaff in my world.

words are empty. talk is cheap. i like to take time and survey the landscape before leaping into the unknown. i don't understand why there should be urgency to emotionally attach to someone just cos they like you. it's like he needs to stake a claim whereas i just want to hang out and have fun without defining everything as we go along.

kits: the problem is that people do insist on indulging in pillow talk and possibly more than 99.9% of pillow talk is bullshit generated by all those raging endorphins. if guys start saying the same kind of things outside the bedroom, that worries me even more because to me, it indicates a controlling personality, like i said above, staking a claim, etc.

i won't say i feel something i don't feel and it takes a while to create feeling as i admit to being a little cold and clinical.

but the sag seems to think that suggests i am generally not CAPABLE of showing emotion which i think is unfair considering i only hooked up with the guy on 21st december...just before going away for 2 weeks!!!

Rigo: I would say thats a short time period as well ..we scorps in general are full of emotion....of every kind too! Its not something we publicy display as we are by nature very private creatures. We must trust someone to share that side of ourselves....We dont take emotions lightly and when expressed......genuine. He must be a water sign! They can be & are as emotional as we are but sometimes put it all out much quicker with the exception of some crabs....on the other side: We are slow, we are feeling and when we show/share emotions....they are genuine

He sent you those lyrics? They guy's a creep. Sounds like you are well rid of him. He's trying to put the blame on you which is not fair. Don't let anyone judge how you behave. No need to spill your guts early on. Wait till you trust the guy. Maybe your real 'problem' is that at a deep down level you knew he was a creep! LOL.

Hahaha! Yeah I thought the lyrics were very melodramatic considering he's virtually a stranger!! He's actually a full on sag tho and just wants his woman to be lying prone at his feet. Ego of epic proportions. The whole outburst this weekend started from him when I said I couldn't go stay at his place cos of other commitments! he's still waiting for me to cave in cos he's updating on his whereabouts every 5 minutes. I've gone in to ignore mode.

Scorpio men can easily get worked up about a woman. We will put ourselves out there but Scorpio women do not. It takes time to entice a Scorpio female forward into a more serious relationship. But, I have said this before and I'll say it again, Sags. are deadly to us. Please stay away from them or much pain will ensue.

I'm just happy for you that you found out before you made any solid emotional commitments. Then, it would have been so hard to pull yourself out of it considering how hard we work and fight to make a relationship work. That's why I yearn for a Scorpio female. When a male scorp. and female scorp. connect, it's like two mighty rivers joining. They smack hard into each other, but they draw power from one another and then go on to wipe out any pathetic fools that try to get in their way. 🙂

Do you realize that the month of November has the second fewest births in the U.S.? Women don't usually conceive in cold February. It takes an enormous force of nature for us Scorpios to be conceived and then be born in November (yes, I know Scorpios are also born in the tail end of Oct. as well but that's essentially in the same period). That's one reason why we are the most powerful of all the signs.

you're right about scorp/scorp pairings. omg the intensity is deep with that combo, too deep sometimes. i was seeing a scorp for a while last year and it's like opposite magnetic forces working together at the same time, attracting and repelling. we understood implicitly the need for private time for a few days after seeing each other and it wasn't a big deal. the thing with this guy is that he's really straigh and i'm seen as being a little bit of a loose cannon. he says he can't be associated with someone like me but the sex is so out of the stratosphere that he can't keep away either.

i know i torment him a bit in that respect. he's recently pulled another disappearing act after telling me he didn't want to see me any more. i'm not even upset cos i know he'll be back cos we're in each others' blood stream now.

the sag and i are avoiding contact altogether.
